Is the strike mission the last mission available in beta? If so it's really short and makes me really worried about their ability to keep up with content. I haven't read about how much content is available at launch or what the level cap is. If they aren't providing free content in the future then this is just a money grab to me since they are already talking about paid expansions packs.

I'm also not thrilled with how boss fights go. It's like the boss fights need adds not for difficulty but for an ammo source. I'm not sure what they could do different but the current bullet sponge design isn't fun.

I can't for the life of me figure out how to get into the crucible. I am level five and I approach the crucible handler and there's nothing to indicate how to actually play. I know I must be missing something obvious.


Edit: oh my god you have to leave the city and navigate to it!

Crucible is another name for PvP. Lvl 6 btw

You access the Crucible in the Orbital Deployment menu to the right side of the screen

getting back into Old Russia in Destiny is like when your a kid and you go to a cabin somewhere with your family and the lake is beautiful and the forest is serene and your family just magically gets along fabulously (despite all odds) and you have probably one of the best weekends of your life.

Then - you go home and go back to school or work and you get older and years pass and the vacation becomes more of a ideal in your head and less a memory. You convince yourself that rose colored glasses are working their magic because nothing could have been that fun and no trip goes down without any kind of static or trouble. It was probably pretty and you probably enjoyed yourself but no way was it as beautiful as it is in your dreams and no chance in hell were the other families at the lake that you met up with on your little home made raft as nice and cool and pretty (the daughter at least...) as you remember.

And then you get a break from work and you invite your sisters and a few of your work friends to go back to that same cabin and lake with you for a laugh.. half expecting to spend the day there before deciding the whole place is rank and you'll just go into town and bar hop for a few days before driving home - only to find that
YES - the lake was clear as glass
YES - the people living around the lake really are fucking amazing AND they grow their own pot
YES - you can still build a makeshift raft that somehow floats and is more fun than a speedboat ever will be
YES - it's beautiful the entire weekend.

Like magic.

I like this game.

And the other one for 9000 XP without dying, is that difficult or no? I can't tell how easy or difficult to get 9000.

yea there is conflicting information on this. Lars mentioned that you could crouch and be sneaky, but players who arent even moving still show up on the motion tracker

Is the iron banner a solo event? If not, I call shotgun on your fire team. You see, I'm quite effective in diverting gunfire away from the rest of the team.

I was thinking the same thing ,because some of the other player and I was whipping his ass.

Then, all of a sudden he starts to run the other way and make you chase him.

Just started playing the beta today, and hot damn is this good. I've been excited about this game but I haven't really been keeping up with it too much. With games like these that promise huge things, I prefer to just wait and see it for myself.

So far I'm very surprised on how much it seems to live up to what they were saying.

Is there a secret to getting in on PS4? The past 2 days I haven't been able to get a stable connection to PSN let alone destiny. Every time I get in the game when it loads any event it boots me out with an error about destiny servers....
