Well that's a bummer then. I'd love some laser rifles, or those tracking blue beams the Fallen seem to use. Maybe a grenade launcher here and there. Something creative.

Let's hope they aren't sticking to the generic classes too closely. I want a legendary sniper rifle to be able to fucking curve bullets made of depleted uranium.

Is there anything to do after level 6? I'm currently level 7 and didn't see anything new on Earth to do. No interest in PvP. How do you unlock the Moon? Is the Moon just a game type for co-op like Crucible is for PvP?

Good times, enjoyed it a lot. I need to dig my working mic out of the box, I'm not sure how anyone copes with the one which comes with the PS4 though, it's not very comfortable to use. I'll be on later for the event that's happening if there's any free slots available in GAF fireteams.

Not really in regards to new levels. You can keep playing to level up, unlock new powers, explore and find things etc.

Have a go at PvP though. I think it's a lot of fun and I'm not a multiplayer type person much. There's few games that I can get into and enjoy and this is one of them.

I'm disappointed by how they reuse areas and the lack of incentive to explore since you can't find any secret treasure chests like in borderlands. The world should have more loot to be able to get in the open world. The classes also don't feel different enough. Cool downs are way high for grenades.

You could try going to the free roam, and kill the devil walker on your own I did that last night for fun.
Also plenty of Ghosts to find too, and level 20 enemies that are immune to everything you throw at them (they're generally guarding something)

• Find the Golden Chests.
• Collect the Dead Ghosts.
• Do Missions.
• Explore.
• Try and do all the Public Events.
• Grab a Pike....actually is that in the beta?
• Head on over to the area near the array and skywatch with a downed Hive ship where Hive and Fallen respawn instantly. Stick around for a while and then try and survive the WAR!

There's absolutely no reason for Bungie to open up more content. If you think it'll happen you'll probably be disappointed. What they are currently offering is already expansive enough to get a good feel for the game. It's hours of completely free content.

I don't think they are going to change anything, nor should they, in my opinion.
My desire to play this game has completely solidified by playing the beta, now I just want the real game to come out so we can play our characters 'for real'. (assuming they are wiping all data which is extremely likely)

When you visit the tower you can share weapons and other gear and power ups between your various Destiny beta characters. You won’t be trading with other players, but you characters.Say for eg. you maxed out your Warlock (lv8 lol) and you want to create a Titan next or Hunter.The stored gear can be accessed by your other created characters on Tower from scratch.

After decking out a good array of Discipline focused armor, my Titan throws grenades like water.

The base ain't great, but the customisations to improve them are there in-gameplay.

Generally there's always 'options' for devs to do extra stuff in Betas. In fact, I wonder if there's more there just waiting for an unlock (Like a super early preload.)
But the Alpha client to Beta client didn't seem to use any of the content as far as I could tell, I went to bed after starting the download.

Stack some discipline and the grenade cooldowns become much less. There are also class-specific skills that lower the cooldown, and even items that speed up the cooldowns.

If you want to, you can throw them by the handful.

To be fair though, it's only partially useful for that.

I used to think that auto rifles were king, but playing with other GAFfers last night, the top 2 members in our fire team were using scout rifles.

Pretty much this. I've used nothing but a scout rifle in PvP and have gotten kill streaks of 10+ multiple times and have been on top of team points almost every time. Dem headshots!

So I just completed The Warmind and now I don't know where I'm supposed to go as far as continuing the story or completing objectives?

There's a mission on the moon the game says I can't access yet, and the Strike mission on Earth. Otherwise, nothing else to do...

I don't think there's much more they could have done about it though other than stopping the game to ask if you want to join a fireteam with surrounding players (which would ruin the somewhat seamless movement between areas).

Highest level is 8?

To talk to people in the Tower/in missions do they have be be on my friends list or fireteam? I have my headset-- the shitty one included with the PS4-- in but nobody seems to hear me or talk.

Favorite moment so far? Attacking the Level 25 enemy and seeing "Immune!" roll down the screen. lol

I'm loving the passive abilities on armor for my Warlock. Got one equipped that decreases cool-down on grenades for every melee hit. All I do is storm an enemy area, throw a grenade, melee 3 or 4 hits and boom, grenade is re-charged. I'm a grenade throwing, melee machine.
