Yeah I've been crushing Reiyatik so far, no renting and at level 39. I use Male Shaman's ability to freeze her when she turns me to water and by the time she recovers the effect is gone.

My plan has been working perfectly so far.

Earth day here. My team is Izanagi, Shoryu, Spy Yunica, Freyja.

Izanagi turns everybody to Earth and stops the boss to turn my team to Water.

The team 1-hit kills the 2 Gunslingers and crit the boss into oblivion.

If the boss focus on Izanagi, once she (he?) is dead everybody goes back to Wood and finishes the boss even quicker with Freyja snipe and Shoryu nuke.

Went from 13 to 38 with hands-free, single-orbs and not renting anything.

With a good strategy she is actually a piece of cake.

Yep, like set your leader, or rent a spirit that turns all team members to wood type, and she's incredibly easy.

For Reverdandi, LotD or any spirit that stops an opponent's action gauge is a good way to put a damper on her speed boost.

And for Miyokutsu, my goto strategy for light/dark spirits is to just make a team of that day's element.

Thanks for the trades! I'm not 100% sure whether I'll be using her (already trying for Tsukuyomi), but I feel like the chances of me using her are higher than me using Bahamut just because I like her time-stopping skill. Stopping high level bosses is invaluable in DoS.

Thank you too! Stopping time is valuable, I decided to focus on the current SRs I have though. With 377 cleared areas, I don't necessarily need this skill. With Bahamut, I might need one more depending on whether I get critical xp with the ones you gave me. We might trade more Verdandi in the future

You dont need LOTD . I didnt rent Lady and I dont own one and got Reiytaku to lvl 57 yesterday. You need either rent spirit that changes colour to green or use one (Pandora) of your own.
I have 2 Pandoras but they are at level 1, so I did rent them when ever there was opportunity to rent one.

Anyone know where I can farm for easy Urd ?

Only place I know where Urds drop is in Sweden. Check my earlier post for the location with pic. So no easy grinding for you, fo me those are level 8 spirits and Urds drop rate is awful (about 1 in every 400 battles or so).

Some heavy grinding (get yesterdays boss atleast to lvl 50) and short trade distances I presume. But why to trade 16 if you wont use em. Iam soon having my 11th Iyatiku and I think I need one more, tho I think its not problem. Trading todays boss reward (lvl 35) to one would be quite easy.

But to obtain 16

I'm starting to reach the point where I need to rent a maxed out Lady/T-Rex/Yellow Emperor/Azure Dragon (water element day) to clear Miyokutsu in 1 raid point but it's usually the same few Vermillion/Artemis/Magician or lvl 20 SRs available, the few people who have what I need to rent aren't available on the list that often.

If anyone plays the Asia one feel free to add Gaspode_T on PSN, not sure how much I will play since Puzzle and Dragons is my main 'go to' when I'm riding trains and stuff...but the art in Destiny of Spirits certainly is nicer

I've only played past the first major area/zone boss, seemed like not much strategy so far but I assume the game will get harder later..I actually had to put down my Vita once right when a boss match started and picked it up and was looking at the victory screen...

I couldn't find newbie advice in the OT...if anyone guru level wants to add some it might help people like me

Izanagi is very valuable, off the top of my head only Amaterasu, Izanami, Vampire, Odin and Siegfried are worth more. You would have got it from an Asian advanced summon.

Level up some UC spirits for your region to start. Your party limit is too low in the beginning to use SR spirits much. Add friends for destiny summons and backup attacks.
Also use the orbs to expand your spirit capacity.

Don't finish it off. Let other players do it so it will add to their totals too.
