Any other Nexus spots open? Never done it before but sounds helpful. How does it work, do I just hop in someone elses Fireteam?

Simple. They want it to take longer to get a full set of faction gear, so people keep playing week after week.

Come to think of it you have a point, I don't think I had any 20's drop until actually going over the soft cap at least a level or two so perhaps that factors in. Either way when you're looking for legendary gear you will find plenty of rares, and probably break most of them down for materials too.

See, that seems backwards to me. Part of the fun of these games is getting cool stuff above your level and that sense of anticipation for when you'll finally be able to equip it. Why would they gear it to exclusively give you stuff you won't want to use?

You do get higher level stuff, but not with any sort of consistency it seems.
 
So you can destroy the thingies on the front of Fallen drop ships. Anyone know what that does or if you can destroy an entire ship? The front thingies flash white as you damage them but no where else does on the ship but it still shows the red x damage marker in your crosshair.
 
is there a worldwide leaderboard?

averaging a 2.5 KD after 600 or so kills in the crucible just wondering where the average would be

Lvl 20. I'm still miffed about how the daily and weeklies have no matchmaking. So so dumb. Bungie better fix that shit quick. There are time I just don't want to get people together. I want to go. Now.

Don't worry I too did the same. I'm sure in the near future we will be the ones having cool stuff and already have a bunch of currency on us, while those who didn't join a faction will have too start from 0 :3

I'm hoping to finish the game by Tuesday. Preferably Monday, though.

Can someone who's beaten it tell me how much I have left in the story, please?

I spoke to the Queen and her brother, then did one of the Venus missions they gave me. I'm level 13.

Just about 66% of the way there. Should be able to finish in plenty of time if you buckle down tomorrow.

It did work that way for me when I was a low level, but yeah that seems to come to an end at the high levels. I'm not actually sure any weapons or gear actually go above level 20 themselves though so I guess they need to have something there at the end to keep you working towards on the last 10 levels.

A planet and a quarter (roughly 5 or 6 story missions)
 
So I hit level 20 (I'm a titan with the defensive subclass) and got my banner for the new monarchy faction. I've been doing the daily heroic mission, as many bounties as I can each day, and I fill in the time between with strikes.

I've noticed a lot of people who are already running around with light gear that boosts them up past level 20, but I can't seem to get my hands on a piece of light gear at all. The level 20 strike playlist has been doing nada for me.

How did you guys get your pieces?
