What are "deprecated Quest requirements"?

Daily Heroic Story
Removed deprecated Quest requirements from "Siege of the Warmind"
Removed deprecated Quest requirements from "The Wakening"

Also I wasn't able to grab the ghosts the last time this was the daily mission, do we know yet if you can grab those ghosts today and immediately get the new quest, or we will have to wait until tomorrow or whatever?

Weekly Nightfall Strike

• Increased the base level of Nightfall Legendary rewards by 10 Attack/Defense
• Increased the chance of Legendary rewards by 10% (from 50% to 60%)
• Increased the number of Strange Coins or Three of Coins awards
• Ghosts have been added to the Legendary reward loot table
• Legendary Engrams no longer drop from Nightfall Strike boss kills
• They will continue to drop their unique Legendary items
• Removed Antiquated Runes from the loot tables

This is kind of awful. Increasing the base value of the gear is good, but simply upping the odds of a legendary is baffling to me. The Nightfall should be a guaranteed legendary item or engram, full stop. Getting 17 strange coins vs. 13 will not make the Nightfall feel any less of a blank for rewards.

I've gotten two Antiquated Runes ever (both from Eris, neither used), so I don't understand removing those - they should be a secondary reward along side the main gear rewards. And there's nothing to fill in the void left by the removal of the XP buff.

1. Yeah, you definitely need to have done it last time it seems.

From a standpoint of basic logic, I don't see how it could be possible to increase the chance of one drop without effectively reducing the chances of the others.

Are Strange Coins and Three of Coins considered legendary items? If not, then they could reduce the drop chance for those items while maintaining the exotic drop rate.

the take away from the entire thing is that legendary gear (ghost included) can now drop at 310 from NF.

that's probably your main incentive.

I can confirm no need to be FWC to have the quest. My Titan is FWC and he didn't have it but my Hunter who is New Monarchy has it cos I did the daily with her last time.

So basically you should ve turned in the ghost to get the quest.

Edit: In the end u need to accept allegiance so you can donate!

That's a really shitty "improvement" to the nightfall rewards. :|

Why remove legendary engrams? Those were a nice consolation prize when I would use a 3oC and get nothing.

Also LOL at the Nightstalker fix. That kind of a fix is an emergency hotfix candidate, not a planned fix as part of a bigger patch that has been planned for a few weeks. What a joke.

We get a guaranteed Legendary engram from doing the Weekly. Apparently nothing guaranteed from the Nightfall. Smh.

It like they haven't heard/read/seen any of the issues we are having.
Nightfall is still pointless.

At this point I would be excited to get 25 weapon parts as a Nightfall reward.
