Has anyone tested the difference between the perks Inverse Shadow and the ones for only Special, Heavy, and Melee kills?

Why would anyone ever pick the latter options when Inverse Shadow increases super for all types of kills? Unless the super gains with the special, heavy, and melee kills are more than regular Inverse Shadow kills, I don't get it ..

Halo OT referenced us. It'd be nice and cool to use something with Halo! Let's welcome them to the herd.

I can't chip in cause I haven't played Halo though. From what I've read, I'm a little surprised to learn there's a ton of shared terms (Legendary, Heroic, Osiris, Nightfall, Guardian all seem to be important in both titles). I'm sure you guys can work something out.
