Can I try it again with the same character this week or is CM chance over after Warpriest dies?

I always thought that everybody got 200 Silver, and if you did log on, you get an additional 200 silver. that's why most of us had 400 silver, because we logged in before December

just got my "S" class license. still have to get to rank 3 and pray to RNGesus that 320 helms will drop :/

edit: I just checked out the helm that dropped after I completed the "S" class license... it has a defense of 3?!?
edit2: got the ArcRunner from the package!!! w00t w00t!

One win away from S Class and 3068 away from Rank 3. So far highest Helmet I have is 308 and Class item of 298. Just like XB1, PS4 is showering me with helmets instead of class items. Need a ghost too.

I did this last night and got the same result.

After not being able to complete the CM for HM Oryx this weekend (thanks to everyone who tried with me), I think it's time to take a major break from this game after IB next week.

I've literally been playing every day since TTK dropped and I'm 315. What am I chasing, exactly? "Newer" weapons? 320? Bragging rights? For what? Let me be honest; I'll never run a straight HM Raid. I'll just do the CM every week (WP and Golgoroth is super easy with the right team) and just cross my fingers that I can get a HM Oryx kill one of these days. Don't care about either Raid shader, don't care about the ship, don't care about the emblem. Don't really care about my primary weapon being over 310; either I'll be the same player I've always been in IB or slightly worse for wear; eventually the cap will rise again.

I would love to get a Grasp or a Eyasluna or get my Faction (that I did not start until TTK, even though I've been playing since Day 1) to Level 25 or finish the Bond Brothers for The Chaperone or something, but I think I've maxed myself out.

Bungie did a great job of getting people hooked, but they have done a terrible job of keeping them hooked. Exotics don't feel exotic. Weapons are the same with different looks or slightly different attributes. Everything lags. EVERYTHING. Even the reward screen at the end of events like Strikes and Crucible and SRL lags.

My backlog is calling me and I think I've put it off long enough. I'll finish out this week racing in the SRL for a 320 Class Item, but after that? I don't know.

I don't know at all.

Really wish they would curate the Nightfalls.
Undying Mind with Trickle is like SRL with No Gates. It's not more challenging as much as it's way more boring.

Datto made a video about it recently. It wasn't actually nerfed. It's very good but not as good as Quilliums most of the time. You never have to reload now.

Finally got an entire racing set for my warlock. I still think it sucks that the helmet is the only piece with light. I wish I could use my racing shit outside of SRL.

Eh. Sure. But we had a Halloween event, but it wasn't called Halloween. Just about every culture has a mid-winter festival (some cultures may have more severe winters than others, other may have winters in June). And Christmas is pretty much a secular holiday at this point (I say this as a Christian) vs Easter which is the actual big one.

A lot of players ware hoping for something, like the "Festive Laugh" emote or Xur to sell something fun. I wasn't expecting anything beyond SRL. But it'd be nice if Xur showed up in a Santa hat or there was snow in the tower or something. *shrug*

In response, my group asked him if he knew what he was doing before we started the raid and he said yes. When we get to the daughters he doesn't know which platform to start at, we stuck it out and ran it with him. When we get to Oryx we explained to him what to do. Yet he fails to kill his knight, not once does he kill his night, he completely ignored his night every time which caused the guy opposite his platform to die and he also failed to detonate his bomb twice. And now you're the one who's upset? We shouldn't be stuck on Oryx for hours like it's still day one. Come on.

When we entered the room, you didn't' even allow me to talk. It's a normal custom (at least here) to set up the encounter, agree who does what, etc.
I know both encounters (daughters and oryx) and have done them plenty of times with various people here. And you know what? It was fun and relaxing.
Your crew was frankly obnoxious (playing porn in the background, really man?) and totally unresponsive and unable to fucking COMMUNICATE with someone other than the 5 of you.
I fucked up the first run, sure, but only because we didn't even communicate on who does what.
So yea... good riddance.
