Destiny |OT41| Don't Worry, Leave Happy

Need one more for Nightfall, join on Shokleeto
If no one who needs it joins, and you need a third to take enemy fire, lemme know.

I like Fallen Saber as the nf.

Edit: top of page, on old ipad, so... here's a joke.

Why can't you play Uno with Mexicans?

because they take all the green cards

Late, but if you still need NF help let me know.

The hallway is fun with a Titan.
It's funny with a Bones of Eao wearing hunter banging its head on the roof.
It's painful as a warlock.

Warlocks need some sort of bonus when carrying relics, tomb husks and whatever else they're called.

10 bounties each for next IB. I don't think I've ever used a weekly. Been sitting there since like second IB.

I always bend over and pretend i'm lacing up my boots, so someone else can take over, for fear of dying and wasting time.

Because I get to rank five on all three without needing to ever. And still have seven other bounties left over for next IB. IB rep is generous.

Ahh, gotcha.
Personally I would get annoyed by having bounty slots taken up.

Is Saladface's rocket launcher worth it if I already have a dropped one with hard launch, heavy payload, and cluster bomb?

Dude on reddit made replicas of a several Destiny guns. Fucking bonkers!

Good games everyone. Successful IB for the most part. Need to put more maps in. And I think rift and control are more fun to play than clash these days.

Good games. Camping spawn and hardscoping make clash annoying. Atleast with Control there is movement so spawns can change. Those first a few matches on Bannerfall and Black Shield were super annoying.

Why Omnigul still in the strike rotation is beyond me. Such a terrible strike.

Seriously? Maybe I'm just an odd one in hating the strike.

Nah, you're not the only one. It's just the final room shitshow that makes me back out every time omnigul pops up. But with a pre-made fireteam, you can easily kill her with raze lighters and a armor of light bubble. Good luck doing that randoms..

One win.
One fucking win away from my last rank 5. 8 losses in a row with some of the most incompetent fucks I've ever seen.

Why do you feel discouraged? Because of the Sterling Treasure and the Micro-transactions instead of actual content? The new progression system is much better and PoE CoE is fun but short.

The weapons I use and like got hit pretty hard. Shotguns are no longer fun in PvE; the most fun I ever had with Destiny was when they were awesome and I ran my heavy stealth build. Then they hit it for a 40% reduction, faster drop off, less ammo....it's just so frustrating. Sidearms never were useful and I don't use them. I don't like using fusion rifles, and so didn't ever really use them either. The combined effect of the adjustments to the snipers - scopes, scope time, stability, clip - made me feel like Bungie was going after the one remaining class of secondary weapons I still liked to use, and I really felt the cumulative effect of that after the patch. It was frustrating and sucked a decent amount of the fun from using them. That my main was a 1,000 Yard Stare meant it got hit even harder, despite Bungie themselves saying it was balanced. Then they whacked my precocious MIDA - again while noting that it was already balanced.

They've played whack-a-mole where they're hitting each weapon down harder, and finding a new weapon sticking up a bit higher, so they hit it down, then repeat. For a game about power fantasies, I feel like Bungie does not actually want us to feel powerful in PvE any longer, with all the weapon nerfs. If you do, they'll take a whack at it even if it's balanced. By their own admission, and actions.

And yeah, sterling treasures + the implementation of chroma pushed me over. I really can't express how huge of a turn off it is to get a grab bag of loot each week. I don't want it, I don't value it, and it actively subtracts from my desire to play the game because it's slowly tapping the brakes on playing for the loot. I don't play for some flashy box opening animation and free loot each week for signing in. I play(ed) for wonderful gun play, feeling awesome about my character, and getting good loot through activities. I feel like those things are gone or going fast in the game. I just don't get it. I can't ignore how bummed I was about what it meant for the direction the loot game is going. The hugely cumbersome chroma implementation did it as well. Great feature. Aggressively player unfriendly approach.

This is not the Bungie I've been a fan of since 2001.

So they hit the only weapons I liked to use hard, then implemented a monetization scheme to the loot I find straight up depressing to see in the game. I put it down and walked away, hoping this fall's expansion restores some of the magic.

For the first time, I'm pessimistic about the direction of the game. It's turning into something I simply don't want to play, even with new/refreshed activities. And I loved this game up through Taken King.

I went to bed last night a
lighthouse
virgin, woke up this morning and something had changed, something good.

Huge thanks to Drizz and the 2 other gaffers that ran trials with my account last night, Xplicitone was one I think.
You guys are awesome, DGaf is awesome, I don't know how to repay you for doing that.

Hope you didn't have any troubles finding my weapons, I know they're spread out over my 3, I see you infused the quest 1000 yard and my truth up a bit.

Thank you <3

Damn.

This game got me hooked again  Sweet Jesus on a stick.

Anyway ... what's the best (fastest) way to reach 320+? I've been doing Iron Banner non-stop but my RNG remains shit. I bought the Auto-Rifle and Rocket Launcher once I hit rank 5. Immediatly after I spend 180 Marks I get both of those weapons in 10 minutes *sigh*

So, doing King's Fall on Hard rewards both Normal AND Hard drops right? :) Any chance I can get better stuff outta that?

I'm still not 100% sure what I should grind though.

NF is Dust Palace with Solar Burn, Brawler and Airborne :d Raze Lighter ftw

CoE is brawler, ironclad (RIP brawler) and superkills

Why wasn't it brawler last week with melee? Too easy I guess, but more fun.

Really glad they didn't go the trickle route this week though, should be easy with Nightstalkers providing orbs, then sunbreakers and stormcallers chaining supers.

It's a shame to read this - I did feel as though sniping was less viable than in year 1 and its a shame that bungie has actively targeted weapon classes to make them weaker.

The strange thing is - the game is hardly a challenging game - nerfing weapon builds just takes away from variety - not challenge.

Oh well - im enjoying what im playing of it but now that I have completed a cross section of all the new content im hesitant to grind to 335 simply because I have no doubts that the next content release will again sweep the rug under players feet

The CoE modifiers/bonuses are becoming such a mess. The first two weeks made sense, but last week and this week are terrible.

The most fun way to do it in my opinion is to have one beneficial and one detrimental modifier. The bonus should always be aligned with the modifiers too. For example brawler/melee kills, catapult/grenade kills, Airborne/in air kills, specialist/multi kills, and small arms/precision kills.
