Eh, dunno about the group, but I'm certainly bracing for that regression to the mean. Expecting to get shit for the next dozen raid or so. Plus I got most of what I really wanted, all that's left is helm for two other toons and a few exotics I'll never really use. Then again expansion isn't far off, new loot, plus I'll need time to level a few things so I'm ok with how it went down.

Yep everything will be 10 times worse now we're aware of it. Gorgons are piss easy though.

Zony seems to have the knack of the gorgons. Just do the hard mode route over the top to minimise the chance of fuck up.

The wall run is good on normal.

I've heard people say (and by "people" I mean a certain Scandinavian body-builder with a soft spot for He-Man) that PVE level difference mainly matters if you're below the enemies' level. So 28 in a 26-rated raid shouldn't be much worse than 30. And I dont actually recall much change between being 28 or 29 on normal raid, which sorta agrees with that. But maybe it was just me not noticing.

I did notice a hell of a difference going from 29 to 30 in the 30-rated hm raid though.

I am not sure if the added defence rating makes a difference, I am pretty sure you are right about level advantage though, if you are 28 or above you do 100 % damage to the enemies.

When I got my IB gloves I deleted my leveled legendary gloves that put my Hunter to L29 so I had to roll with a 28 and made it all the way to Atheon with no problems! Felt pretty good about that. Too bad I didn't get a chest piece to make me 30. I have hard Atheon checkpoint now I need to finish when I level up his gloves so I can be 29 again.
