"They Ruined Single Player": Mario Kart World Made The CPU Easier, And Fans Hate It (1.2.0 patch)

It's at least promising that they're patching things. This is Mario Kart, arguably Nintendo's biggest in-house franchise. I think they'll eventually get things right.

Everyone's praising the new Donkey Kong game, but it also suffers from being extremely easy and having zero challenge. This has become a trend for Nintendo and many other major Japanese publishers like Capcom and Square Enix. Their games have become a joke when it comes to having any friction at all.

I get that they have do cater to a younger audience, but we were all young once and experienced Nintendo games as kids. Some of those games didn't mess around and were just more fun because Nintendo and other companies pushed back a bit.

The new Monster Hunter Wilds is a joke compared to the previous entries. And don't get me started with FFXVI.

i think it will repeat MH syndrome, when new games are kind of let down for veterans, but someday will reach the height all again, and the cycle continue in next sequel.
again, it's pretty usual nowadays

I didn't like how the original version got harder the more you drift, that's just bs AI. But this ain't the solution. But I guess this is our MK for the next 8 years so there's plenty of time to go back and forth updating while I disassociate from the outcome.
