Destiny Raid and Nightfall group/clan. Mission: Making it easier to make groups.

Anybody doing a Hard mode raid on PS4 and have a Oracle or Templar checkpoint? I've cleared the rest this week but will play to the end. PSN: Tekneek007
 
Going to be online on Xbox One most of the day about would love to do a normal Raid (for the first time).

Lvl 28 Titan, I'll do whatever you tell me to do, lol.

It looks like w/e raid group I had in the works fell apart.

Anyone up for doing the weekly heroic strike on 28 and/or the nightfall tonight. I need to do it on my 27 Warlock.

I need a bailout, gaffers. I'd like to be able to buy legendary boots by the end of tonight and the only way I can do that is if someone helps my level 26 defender through the nightfall. I've got good void weapons so I can still stay useful, but I need help to get through it.

I have just been informed I have a lvl 27 Hunter alt now.

Gave me a chuckle.
Would be willing to raid normal if we get 6. Hunter is a fragile 27, but it has pretty much every important raid weapon maxxed (vault was too full to transfer Icebreaker.)

How easy is it for someone who has never raided to jump into one? I want to do it but would not know what to do and don't want to screw it up for everyone else. Yeah, I'm a pretty anxious guy.
 
Just leveled another titan alt so i have a fresh lvl 29 defender titan to raid with. Beat hard and normal modes several times.

Looking for 3 more people for Normal Raid from the beginning on PS4. Doing it with 2 buddies who are new to it. I'm level 29 and they are level 26 and one has run it once up to Atheon and one is starting fresh so it won't be a speed run or anything. I organized a group on GAF of all first timers (with the exception of a last-checkpoint ringer) that beat the raid over the weekend. It was a ton of fun, but there is some anxiety with certain team roles if you are totally blind to the mechanics. If that bothers you, I would either 1) go in with an established team letting them know you need some direction, or 2) read up online on some of the mechanics so you are a little familiar.

I definitely recommend you do it - the payoff is awesome when you beat it for the first time and its cool when a team is firing on all cylinders and working together well.

have a 29 titan and 28 warlock with vision confluence, corrective measure, icebreaker, mythoclast, etc.. also know how to get the 5th chest to spawn

I feel exactly the same, I haven't done the raid yet either. Why not we find a group of people who would like to do the raid too. I don't mind doing it with a group of first timers and I don't really care if we fail to complete it as long as everyones on the same page and just have fun.
