Slightly OT sorry, but I've never done VoG before - what level do I realistically need to be to do normal VoG? I'm currently level 26, but I've heard some people say I should wait until I'm 27?

Depends who you're running it with. In a group with 5 experimented raiders that are 28+, 26 is fine. An entire group of inexperienced 26s is likely to have a difficult time. At 26 you're pretty squishy (the raid has up to lvl28 mobs I believe), at 27 you're starting to be comfortable, at 28 you're solid.

Running a fresh hard raid later today on ps4. Kicking off at 6:30-6:45PM EST. I need to use my level 29 Titan as much as possible, but I have two 30 alt's that I can switch to if needed. Fully leveled g-horn and raid weaps. Quote and comment if you're down to go.

It'll have to start around the times you mentioned, though, and the sooner the better. Assuming it takes about 2 hours (the new templar method is pretty much what we've been doing for the oracles, right?) it'll be 1:30 AM over here by the time it ends, which is a bit on the late side. :)

What's up man! I'm really sorry about the Tuesday raid not working out. I'll definitely add you to the roster and I hate to even have you listed as a back-up. I'll post up as soon as Phaethon let's me know about his friend and as soon as jdirty24 confirms that he will make it or not (he works with me). I'm good to go at 6:30PM EST sharp but that depends on everyone else as well.

That Templar video looks like what we normally do on oracles, except the relic holder gets on top of that platform and blasts the shield. Looks like it could be useful for sure as I've only ever legit beat Templar once and that was on normal mode. I've read that Templar on hard is pretty difficult straight up.

lol no worries about Tuesday, especially since we did the hard raid later on saturday. :D Raiding on weekends is better for me anyway.

About the templar, I only beat it legit once on normal too. It wasn't that difficult iirc, but hard mode may be a different story.

I'll probably do another round of hard raid over the weekend with my alts, depending on how it goes tonight. I just need the Titan helmet and then all 3 of my dudes will be 30. Other than that I just want Fatebringer!

I'll update you on here as soon as I hear anything about moving you up into the roster. I chatted with Phaethon yesterday and he said he would probably bring some, but I really don't know how many. Jdirty24 has to help his wife host a pizza party for some of his wife's students but he doesn't know if he will stay or just drop by.
 
At some point tonight (8 hours or so), I'll probably be hanging around playing.

I usually don't play for very long (hour or so) but I'd be happy to help people doing strikes or whatever. I don't know how long the Vault of Glass would take, but I'd be down for trying that (though my wife might be pissed if I'm not in bed early...)

Just add me and say you're from NeoGAF in your add message and I'll be totally down to play!
