My thinking is that if the achievement/trophy for doing things with an all-clan group has to be done with the specific sub-clan we're in, perhaps we should create separate sub-clans for XB1 owners since there are far fewer of us.

Yeah, I think it is. That's why I suggested XBO hedz just join the Destiny GAF clan. That still counts as a clan for that achievement, I believe.

The only reason PS4 people need to split into region is because there's a limit to the amount of clan members that GROUP membership doesn't have. So you can have thousands of people in a group, but only 100 people per console in the CLAN of that group. And XBO isn't even close to the 100 limit. We are currently at 17 Xbox members of the main core original non-regional Destiny GAF clan.

Pardon my ignorance, but why would you not set DGAF primary as your clan? I have primary set as my clan currently and see the tag, but that's about it. I still can't find a reliable group to play with and don't know if there's any way to interact with clan mates in-game. Am I missing something?

I guess my question is: do clans have any in-game functionality whatsoever besides displaying tags?

Ignore that for now, once all the admins have some time, we'll talk about these things and sort it out. Since the member clan cap was raised from 75 to 100, we ended up with a few subclans that aren't completely filled out.

We can't all set DGAF primary as our clan because it can only have 100 CLAN members even though the GROUP has nearly 2,000.

Once 100 people set primary DGAF as their clan, no one else will be able to.

And since there's at least a 10:1 ratio of PS4 to XB1 users, it makes more sense for all the XB1 users to set our clan as primary DGAF (and possibly one sub clan if we fill primary) because there are far fewer of us than PS4 players. Assuming of course clan admin is ok with that. If not it's understandable.

I've created a separate group (it isn't a clan currently, but i'll be activating clan functions) for those on Xbox One interested in the clan-specific achievements (completing strike/raid). We can just switch our clan to that, do the achievements, then switch it back to DGAF once we're done.

Group name is DestinyTA.
