I had the tag [DGA] but I saw some people with the tag [GAF] and they were part of DGAF too. How come?
Yeah we had to change the clan tags from DGAF to GAF, which i have done now for all the groups i got admin on.
So now when it goes up come september it should be GAF on all ingame.

This is due to the fact that the current Bungie.net will only allow 3 Alphabets for the ID - In game. Such as DGAF = DGA. That's why we have changed it to 'GAF'.

I am not going to be able to do anything until next week. On business. Will change Wests/SA/AF and everything when I am back.
I have a "clan" question about how it will work.
Will people in this clan that I am a part of be able to communicate with me as if they were on my friend list without me having to add them manually as a friend?
Will a "clan group" of 6 people count towards being able to go on a raid without me having to individually manually add each gamertag as a friend?

You can do one per platform as far as I can tell. Multiple groups are possible though.

We have no clue. Nothing has been said about how clans will work. Assumptions can be made on previous evidence of clans in halo 2 that clan members will have their own list in the players section and that you can message all members to see who wants to go on a raid or something. Then join them easily.

Creator of main kicked out everybody since the way to fix the tags to appear in-game was to be removed from the current clan and reapplying. Or something like that. They didn't kick only you out if that's what you're wondering.
