That is correct, you are only applying to the group for now, on the 9th of september you log into bnet and you will be able to set us to your clan via the interact button.

It's disabled right now.

Ah, so it should be just like the beta. A new magic button with the text "Set as clan" or something will show up, and there you go. :)

So I was just checking the groups on Bungie.net, and I now have the option to set the regional group as my clan, but not the main group. I originally had the main group set as my clan, so I wonder if that is why the option isn't available for that group. However, it still says that I am not in a clan.

EDIT: I'm thinking maybe they are turning on clan access in waves. The NA West group is listing as "Clan Enabled", and the front page is updated with Clan Wall, Clan Forum, PlayStation Clan, Xbox Clan. The main GAF group is not updated in the same way.

Okay, I just tried setting the NA West group as my PS Clan. It told me that I can not set it as a clan because I have not played Destiny with a linked PSN account. It looks like we won't be able to set our clan until we have logged into the game at least once.

Correct, clans will not be fully functional until the 9th, when the game launches.

Sorry if this has been answered already, but it seems that DestinyGAF EU (which I joined) isn't associated with the DestinyGAF clan; whereas EU 2 and 3 are. Should i be joining EU 2 or 3, or will the first EU group be linked to the clan too?

What's with the DestinyGAF "conversation" that I can't clear out from my bungie.net account? The message is "Oh god, just a few days!", and when I click on it in my destiny app or on the site, I'm given the finger that I don't have permission to join the conversation. I won't let me remove it from my list either, so I've got a perpetual "new message" notice.

Would one of the admins for primary DestinyGAF please clean up the conversation, or give everyone permission to join in?

Hmm.

That message is just on the wall, a little chat box thing each group gets. Are you a member of the group? perhaps that is why you are not allowed to join in.

Also I have heard of a notification bug on bnet, that's for Bungie to fix.

Are raids the only part that are to be restricted? I want to join up and play with DGAF, but I have a bunch of RL buddies who I want to play with as well. I just want to make sure I can play with them as well if I join a clan that they aren't in.

Yep, I'm a member of the primary group, but when I go to the group page, I don't see the wall at all. (I do for the West 3 subgroup I'm in though) Is it possible I was added with a membership type that has different permissions than the rest? Or maybe I need to be removed and reinvited?

Thanks for the re add. The conversation cleared out as soon as I left. Still don't see a wall though, just the announcements and regular group forum. Where is it supposed to be?

Edit: Welp, nevermind. The conversation thing that I can't join or see came back as soon as my group add got fully processed. Wonder if only admins can see or post to the wall? Is that a group setting?
