Pretty sure it's the remastered version that was also released on PC. To be fair, there are many visual enhancements when compared to the original game. Playing on PC right now and it looks great even without mods, closer to Fallout 4 in many ways than Skyrim if I'm honest.Isnt the xbox version literally running the xbox 360 version in BC? The PS4 got its own port I believe.

Richard was speculating that the reason the PS5 runs better is because it has the same 36 CU core count. Do we know if the XSX in BC mode uses all 52 CUs? Or is it limited to the X1X's 40 CUs?I almost forgot the PRO version runs at native 4k, so this mod is quite a game changer to Skyrim on PS5.
If someone curious to try, here.
BTW, works on base PS4. I using here. Its not perfect, but still a boost.
No. Both are the Special Edition.

Based on the results im a happy camper and DF os not biased this week.So no "PS5 framerate advantage at 4K" subtitles for this one? How odd.
This week they ain’t shills? LolBased on the results im a happy camper and DF os not biased this week.
No worries, Cream always rises to the topSo no "PS5 framerate advantage at 4K" subtitles for this one? How odd.
Richard mentioned something about transparency effects or something in that vain. I find this interesting because i wouldn't think this to be a BC limitation but i really dont know alot about it either.BUH BUH BUT DF IS PAID BY MS!@!!!#!@##
I have no interest in playing this game again, but definitely a nice boost for anyone still playing it on PS5. 4k/locked 60.
Not sure why Series X has dips. This should run at 60 pretty easily on both, I would have thought
You are right. There is dynamic resolution scaling in the Xbox One X Version. DF found resolution dipping to 2944*2160 instead of the usual native 3840*2160.I dunno. All speculation. Really strange Series X runs less stable than PS5 because if I remember right the PRO version have a higher resolution than Xbox One X.
Maybe is a limitation on what BC can or not use from the system hardware. As Rich said, PS5 is running as a Playstation 4 with 10TF, for take 100% effect he need to be a 100% PS5 app. I guess this apply to Series X as well.
Nope, going to have to wait until next weeks results lolThis week they ain’t shills? Lol

This is the remastered version of Skyrim. It runs at native 4K on both Pro and One X, with numerous graphics improvements that make it far harder to run than the original release on PS360 or even PC.
It’s ok everybody will jump on the gamepass thread now they announced 18 million subscribers to point out every single one is only paying £1 , that’s were this weeks energy will go lolNope, going to have to wait until next weeks results lol
That's the thing. PS5 already had the performance advantage in Hitman 3.Damn that one title really got under your skin, eh?
They probably didn't want future threads dedicated to their content to be mass reported by sensitive console warriors, like Hitman 3 threads were.
For the record, I think it would be perfectly fine to put "PS5 performance advantage" in this thread title, and vice versa if Series X wins another one later. It's fine either way.
Still hard for me to believe it is THAT demanding on modern PC hardware. I could be wrong, of course.
but ps5 will drop less 1% of the time need a title for that ! this is a really noteworthy difference unlike 100% of the time resolution and settings onetime out!!!
Before misinformation is concluded by the op images.... neither is solid 60 they both go down as far as 43 FPS.
Okay now carry on.
Well i thinks its hard to compare because, if im not mistaken, CP 2077 BC mode still used the artificial cap created by the last gen consoles PS4 Pro and XoX. This is a mod to remove the artificial cap and the res being native 4k.Comparing these results to the Cyberpunk 2077 BC comparisons is interesting. Is the BC advantage here more of a hardware or software thing? Honest question, not trolling
the xox version cyberpunk clearly had a bit more work put in as evident in the quality modes that weren't present in the ps5 version. Higher npc counts, better effects, multiple modes that weren't present in the x1x version. It's obvious there was some hardcoding done there for the xss and xsx versions. No such work was done for Skyrim.Comparing these results to the Cyberpunk 2077 BC comparisons is interesting. Is the BC advantage here more of a hardware or software thing? Honest question, not trolling
There is also a native Xbox One version, that also runs in native 4K in the One X.Are we really testing two gen old titles now? What's next? A video from DF titled, "Tetris, an Xbox Series X Advantage?"

The extra foliage for exemple is much more dense than the original. You can see that the PS4 at 1080p with unlocked framerates runs just above 30 most of the time, sufficient only for a locked 30fps, like in most PS4 titles.Damn that one title really got under your skin, eh?

It always mostly is a software thing, and this is especially true in BC games.Comparing these results to the Cyberpunk 2077 BC comparisons is interesting. Is the BC advantage here more of a hardware or software thing? Honest question, not trolling
That is only allowed with MS related products... you can check how they did titles in the past.So no "PS5 framerate advantage at 4K" subtitles for this one? How odd.
Can anyone tell me the exact name of the mod on ps5?
Old Bethesda game, how stressed do you think the hardware really is?So is this limited by the software itself on Xbox?
is the mod what makes this 60fps constantly on ps5?
curious not trolling
I think it the GPU clocks speed it higher on PS5 which Skyrim runs better it the clocks speed that gives it a advantage since Skyrim is a old game that rely more on clock speed than CU cores. So is this limited by the software itself on Xbox?

The 60fps requires a mod on PS5, just like on Xbox.

Remember Skyrim is originally a PC design Game first and it really old base on older PC specs that scale better to higher clocks speed rather than CU cores. And also let me add that this is not a official update or patch or anything it is a fan made mod.surely this won’t be pushing either hardware at all?
there should be plenty of head room on both consoles with this game.
So
The Xbox version of the game is modded to?
