Tell me about it... it's kinda scary how I sometimes forget that Diablo 3 is more than the shit we got in the beta. I can't believe we've only played a small part of the game ._.

So, I am stoned for the first time in 3 years but I wish I was at home to play some Diablo 3. Had an awesome time at a Christmas party though.
Wouldn't mind some high Diablo!
Oh my, I don't remember posting these at all. Sorry I didn't get online yesterday. I think I woke up around 2 pm and felt terrible until 8 pm then crashed at 10. I should be on leveling my Wizard to 13 tonight though.

I don't know if it's just the colors of the text, or that background texture, but it's more annoying to read to me now, even though the layout is better.
And I kind of like having panels on the sides of the main content - at least on a large screen - as it makes better use of the space.
I managed to get some play time in without my computer freaking out. Yeah, they do feel harder. Might have something to do with the fact good gear doesn't drop until later, but even so they still seemed to have more hp. I did notice that the plague clouds seem to drain your hp faster.
They also changed a number of spell effects and make them shinier.
They're definitely still polishing the game.

Buff magic? If anything, it seems as if they've made magic even weaker than it was previously

Received the invite this morning while I was at work so I remote desktop'd and diablo is now waiting for me when I get home.
I had a 99% MF-monk in patch 7. It was however utter crap at finding items
To find items I do the 20min speedruns with new characters to kill leoric. Works like a charm, so many rares
Yeah, I might just sell it on the AH. I really didn't find all that much with my mf barb either.

Pre-patch:
Chance on hit: Blasts your enemy with lightning, dealing 300 Nature damage and then jumping to additional nearby enemies. Each jump reduces that victim's Nature resistance by 25. Affects 5 targets. Your primary target is also consumed by a cyclone, slowing its attack speed by 20% for 12 sec.
With patch:
Chance on hit: Deals damage and slows your target by a small amount.

Just played through with the Witch Doctor last night and I agree that Firebats + Zombie Dogs are pretty good at clearing out rooms. I still think the Monk is crazy powerful, but haven't played Barb or Demon Hunter yet.
This game can't come out soon enough for me.

When playing with others, what is shown when someone says something in chat? Their player name or their Battle Tag? Someone was saying stuff in chat, so I glance over to the left to look at the 3 other players, and no one has that name. So you have to break focus and hover over each one to see how is speaking. Terrible implementation...
So what is shown under the character portrait? The character name or the battle tag?

You see the battletag name in chat. It is so stupid to have to hover over the portraits to figure out who is saying what. Character name under portrait except for yours which has your battletag minus the # and 4 digit pin.
Character names are not unique.
