D3 will run just fine if you have the latest SP (3 i think) for XP installed

I dont think anyone should die in act one until you at least get past the first boss. But thats in any Diablo game.

If you're Monking it up...you won't be disappointed. Just keep an eye on what weapons you have, your attack speed and armour. Keep increasing those and things splode all over the place.

It seems to be every Rune I unlock, I have to try it out. Currently rolling with Hundred Fists and Exploding Palm. So messy.

My friend died twice in Act 1 Normal but I guess it was a little harder than solo since it was 2 man and we were split up both times.

OMG it's here!!!!! THe box and manual smell so good. I love the little velcro buttons that open up the box. They could have easily cheaped out like other PC game phys copies do these days but they didnt. The manual is also full color. The box is sturdy and opens up like a panorama. Even the inside of the box has scripture written on it. Im so happy

Doh. I understand the always online aspect from a piracy and especially from a cheater perspective (people will find a way still I bet...), but it still sucks.

I was just about to enter the lair of the skeleton king. I wonder where I'll restart... I needed a break anyways (my index finger did at least. I was hoping to beat chapter 1 before teaming up.

Yeah, Monk is my primary character whenever my Wizard friend is on. Otherwise, whatever I decide for my HC character will be what I use.

Can't wait to Monkpunch something in the goddamn face.

Managed to get in for like 10 minutes earlier. Got to say, the graphics seemed a tad old-school. Lacking sharpness and detail, but those were just very early impressions. Gameplay mechanics, sound and presentation were all top-notch, though, as you'd expect from Blizzard.

Now if only I could carry on playing the game I just paid big bucks for.

I'm just going to play each class for at least the first two acts and see which I like most. I was thinking monk, but just didn't like the look of a Monk wielding swords so I switched my first character to be a Demon Hunter, but again, I'll wait and see before deciding outright.

I may do that, my other thought is playing on normal with all the characters then picking the ones I like into the higher difficulties.

Nope. I have ins with the Blizzard Illuminati. I told them the most undercore boss nerds will be on after a hard days work and we'll need the servers in tip top shape for when we arrive home.

I am in Act 3 and my Monk build is pretty awesome. Hight DPS + healing myself constantly.

I died a few times, actually. I had about 3 or 4 other people in the game, so things were more difficult, and they weren't anywhere near me. I took on some unique mobs and also got swarmed pretty badly on another occasion. With just me in the game it's been cake, though.

Haha, no. If you went into any of the beta or hype threads and said something to the effect of "I expect server issues at launch" you got dogpiled.

Seriously, there were so many Blizz defenders that said there was no way this would happen. lol
