That's great. I got a phone call from my dad today saying he and my mother are considering getting me a digital single-lens-reflex camera. Wow. So do I go full blown and get a NiconD100, something Canon offers, or even a Sigma?
I really don't know. I'm not going to be a pro photographer, but I'm being trained as one as part of my degree, however, I can only use a pro-grade D-SLR camera. I have to be able to manually control shutter speed, aperture, f-stop, etc. These are all comparable settings and not actually like the mechanisms in regular SLR cameras, are they?
I'll be looking into it. What do you guys know?
