Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth |OT| Vita Savers

The models are so good. Hope somebody can get snaps of Veemon and his evolutions, always liked his designs.

Ask and ye shall receive.

(I swear I spend half my time in this game taking pictures, lol.)

I finally have a second farm, so now I can avoid having so many Digimon wasting away in the Digibank. But upgrading and developing a second farm will take even more money.

I've gotten a few more Perfect levels, but evolving an Ultimate still seems a little out of reach right now.

Thanks so much! These are badass -- especially Paildramon/Fighter Mode
It's impressive that they bothered to utilise both of the different evolution paths

Also...

It's a coincidence, but it feels like I've seen that pose somewhere.

Edit:
Do you have an online gallery where we could take a look at any other snaps you've taken?

Here you go. I tried semi-ordering everything and just kept intro stuff for the story. There are some Digimon missing either from bad photo taking or forgetfulness. If there is a specific one someone wants to see, I can probably get most of the Perfect(Ultimate) Digimon at this point in the game.

Thank you for sharing this. I'm going to have to buy this from Japan if it doesn't get localised, I think.

I currently have 35 memory and I just
saved Agumon and Gabumon from hackers and that rocker.
I haven't missed any memory upgrades so far right?

No problem. I love the models in this game and wanted to take a picture of the ones I liked the most.

Then I ended up taking pictures of everything, lol. Might as well share it.

I do hope this gets localized. Best Digimon Story game by far, imo, especially in the story department. I would like to be able to understand it better.

According to this, you should have 15 more memory than when you started, which I believe is 20, so I think you're good.

Thanks for the info. I am currently at the Hagururumon dungeon for exp grinding. OMG that's a lot of exp with 2 plat shits. My current project is getting my ex-veemon to 100 potential to be ready for imperialdramon PM.

That the chapter 4 side quest one? If so yep thats where I was for a long ass time with 3 platshit.

Why did the devs make this dungeon...? It just destroys the game, lol.

I think they did it both to scare users into getting the objective done quick due to seeing the stronger monsters, but for veteran players its a place to grind out some digimon that you want.

I ended up leaving it after leveling a few Digimon because the game is practically a cake walk already and I didn't want to make it worse, lol.

The fact my platshit army could roflstomp pretty much anything the game throws at me is hilarious as is. Am sure I could beat the game with them if I wanted to.

Its not even my actual real PT too which is more sad :D

Though the game does a good job to make sure you do use the correct types against each other in a fair fight due to the damage increase / decrease.

Im curious how much other info is wrong in the game book, since I think what happened was they did an update to the game after they gave famitsu the data for the book. Which is why shit does not match.

I have not looked up the blowback on it, but can imagine some folks are pissed and they really should recall the books and update the data. Since this isnt a case of the game getting updated after release over time with things changing. It was literally wrong right out of the gate.

Man, since I didn't figure out which digimon to use as a leader to increase stats, I've been spending all day leveling my paildramon to lvl 79 to met the stat requirements to digivolve into imperialdramon... Luckily hagururumon's dungeon helps quite a bit.

I'd equate it to Pokemon in that way. As long as you know the types and aren't under-level, you can blow though the main game.

With this being aimed at an older audience, though, I wish it was harder. That's probably my biggest complaint with it.

Hopefully the underlying mechanics stack up, I haven't tried PvP yet.

Imperialdramon is a harder one to get for sure, even if you use the farm correctly. It's totally worth it though. I love using the mode change, if just for aesthetics.

It looks like it's going to be a challenge getting Imperialdramon PM too...

What info in the book was wrong?.

Numerical values and whatnots. One / two? of the digimon in the glossary are not numbered correctly.

One of the largest numerical value fuckups is the amount of $$$ the guy who buys your digimon medals for.

Was wondering. I'm never sure when the best time to evolve my Digimon is. For example, I de-evolved Greymon back to Agumon, and that raised his max level to 44 as well as his talent to 9. Now Agumon is level 22 and I kind of want to evolve him again, or should I wait until he's level 44 and maxed out again?

Also, I have 30 Memory (at the very start of Chapter 4 now). Have I missed out on some anywhere? o_O

I could have sworn at Chapter 4 you should be at 40...could be my memory messing with me.

In general its up to you when you want to evolve them but for your front line guys what I usually did is try to make them hit max level. In general the higher the level they are when you evolve / de-evolve them you will reach the cap for the talent bonus. Doing it too early puts you under that cap. Which means more time spent evolving / de-evolving.

Also be sure when you are leveling to check in the digimon index what lv the skills unlock at since you always want to try to open up all of those at least before evolving.

Cheers Parakeetman. I beat those two Meeramon + Devimon with a Level 22 Agumon, Level 22 Terriermon and Level 21 Kyuubimon, somehow haha I'm going to level up some more though. Any particularly good places to battle?

Did you already get past that Chapter 4 submission for the Hagurumon digimon? Since that dungeon has way higher lv digimon that you can fight vs what appears in the story for a while. So if you drag around the 3 platinum sukamon プラチナスカモン you can get an INSANE amount of exp. You can make those from the hagurumon tree.

I just encountered a PlatinumSukamon in
Valhalla Server
and wow, they give a heckton of EXP. I got more than 20K with my three plat shits.

I'm at chapter 10, finally got my first Megas, though I think I'll stay around here a little more to get some other mons up to speed.

I haven't D: So I can find that submission on the notice board? Will have a look now. That'd help massively in getting these guys to their max level since it seems to have slowed down a bit once they hit level 23+

Yeah it should be on the mission board and will take place within Nakano Broadway.

Hey look it's everyone's favorite Digimon!

... yeah, I don't know why I wasted the time either.

MirageGaogamon is cool enough to make up for it, I guess.

On a side note, it looks like MegaSeadramon gets Plesiomon for an evolution, but Zudomon doesn't. No respect for Adventure Gomamon's original Ultimate, eh?

So I'm back playing and now in the dungeon in Chapter 4/5 (says C5 on the save screen but it may have been available before that. I went straight into
The Digital Subway
when C4 started) that you can face powerful Digimon in. So far, that purple dino, Geogreymon, Knightmon and BlueMeramon.

I am in the middle of raising two Hagurumon to turn into Plat shits :D

My Tailmon is an absolute beast though. My Neko Punch takes half of their health of most of the time. Too bad her defense is weak, keeps getting one - two shotted and they love to go after her.

I doubt I'll stay here for too long, just long enough for me to have a bit of fun lol.

Man, that Chapter 10 scene
where Nokia gets WarGreymon and MetalGarurumon to combine and become Omegamon
was amazing. It was the right mixture of laugh out loud hilarious and being kind of cool at the same time.

And then, after all that, shit gets really real, complete with a twist that I really didn't see coming. Seems like the story's going to be getting a lot more serious now. I also appreciate how the game is giving each character a nice little arc and their own motivations. I think the story is doing well by its characters, something that puts it up there with the best of the Digimon anime in that regard.

I'm spending a lot of time just evolving and devolving Digimon right now. I will have a perfect team eventually. I finally have my first Ultimate in Justimon who is doing a lot of good for me (and he's been my top hitter ever since he was a Cyberdramon), and I'm starting to get some other stronger Digimon. The Digilab music is starting to become the Velvet room music for me with as much time as I'm in there doing my evolutions and moving Digimon around from one farm to the other for the right bonuses.

MirageGaogamon is cool enough to make up for it, I guess.

Looking pretty awesome. I can't wait to get him. I do have a MachGaogamon that I'm leveling up right now.

Yeah, I didn't see the silhouette for Zudomon, which surprised me. Zudomon's used to getting disrespected, though.

Yoooo, Chapter 10 is amazing.
Playing as Omegamon and curbstomping the other team was ridiculously fun. GreyGarurumon/GaruruGreymon had me laughing too.
The best part is that the story starts ramping up from here.

This is a like good Digimon season wrapped in a game, I really hope it is translated at some point.

I need another good Digimon game in my life...but if this is Vita exclusive...

Oh dear.

If you really really want it, you could always go cheap(er) with the Playstation TV.

Really happy to hear that, because I just got through Chapter 10, and holy cow.

I got a bunch of new Megas, and hit the maximum skill capacity for some of them, so I think I'm good for their grinding. Meanwhile, in Farm 2...

Also, I got a question. I got a LadyDevimon, and while Laylamon is in her digivolutions, there is no way she can achieve base 250 INT, because she gets 220 at lv.99. Is there something later on that will allow to bypass this limit, or did I miss something?

You need an INT type also. Since if you are just trying to make certain classes without using the specific types too it will be pretty much impossible. Also do believe the far items and who the leader of the farm is will help.

You need to raise up her INT stat at the farm. Find an INT oriented Digimon and have them be the leader. Then add farm goods that raise INT. Then do special training.

If it doesn't go any higher (like if it stops at +13 or something), you need to raise her potential (degenerate), lower other additional stats, or you can change her attribute with a patch which will make her naturally raise the stat higher. (I think this is all right, at least this is how it worked for me.)

I am so tempted to pre-order one of these for the hell of it. Next round of pre-orders that is.

That's pretty neat. If I didn't already have a Vita, I might have considered it.

I am at Chapter 19 currently (right before Chapter 20), and holy shit did the side quests get hard all of a sudden.
LordKnightmon is kicking my ass, lol.

It almost feels like this is closer to what the game's difficulty should have been, at least with the bosses. I'm using actual strategy beyond "Send BlackWarGreymon in to destroy everything".

I'm also finally unlocking the Royal Knights evolutions, which I was surprised to find a lot of my Digimon needed. Poor Knightmon has been waiting for this day.

I added more pictures to the gallery that include some of them, if anyone wants to take a look.

Had totally forgot about that item so didnt do a pre-order way back when it was first announced. Totally regret that though. Since would be a useful device. Though I think there will be hardware revisions based off of the initial response by early adopters. That is unless Sony C&Ds them afterwards or the company does not want to produce more outside of that first run which is another possibility also...

Ooooh, so attributes do that too, thanks. Potential is at 100, so it should be fine, but I gotta find a INT patch now to make things easier.

I think my Digitamamon is in the same case.

Chapter 11:
Holy shit, Rie was LordKnightmon all along. What the hell?

Man, this story is suddenly going places pretty quickly.

Yeah, it gets pretty crazy. It was "wtf" at every other chapter for me. (In a good way.)

No UlforceVdramon? I am disappoint

I didn't have him at that point because you can't get Royal Knights til the endgame, but now...

I still don't have Magnamon or Imperialdramon PM.

I can't seem to get to the other chests in asakusa area 2 in chapter 8. It triggers the boss battle halfway through the map. Am I doing something wrong?

I just realized the EDEN Entrance shop updated its items with various patches and chips for a few chapters. I feel dumb for not checking it and thinking my mons couldn't lower their stats. Now I can get the Megas I want.

I'm at chapter 15 by the way, and damn, the story really got me more and more pumped ad I advanced. And Wakamoto suddenly appeared as
Leopardmon
, consider me pleased.
