I've been watching those, can't believe Season 2 had so many plotholes and I never noticed as a kid.

Watched JesuOktaku's review on Zero Two today, since nothing of note was going on. (Probably should've watched the Adventure review...but I'll save that for another day.)

Actually not just Tai, but any other characters too. Apparently they will appear as enemies.
I didn't realize either, but it made the fact that I pretty much checked out of Zero Two by time Azulongmon showed up make a lot more sense. Really, the whole review brought by how much I really never cared about Zero Two. It's probably my least favorite season.

Finally checked it out and got to the end of the Bagramon arc.
Probably forgetting some things I could add, but pretty much sums up my thoughts
I was very pleasantly surprised. It's actually pretty exciting, and it was awesome seeing the different combinations of digimon.
Although it couldn't be helped, I kind of wish it could be condensed and get a bigger budget to better animate with. Well, maybe I'm just spoiled by the movies (Our War Game!, etc.)

And yeah, sadly it didn't get much budget, but you can definitely see the episodes that have budget (them Nene boobies are a factor)

Oh I mean in the first season of Xros Wars, you know they have a high animation budget when the episode involves shiny glow and Nene gaining boobs. It's sorta like Savers having that episode where the females gain breasts.
Oh right, that makes sense. It was sometimes jarring to see the changes in the episodes, but that is the reality of a limited budget. Although I think they could have gotten away with using a sort of simple style, rather than the shiny style that probably takes a bit more effort to keep consistent.

I thought the sequel has been progressing fine - it's your typical intro phase.
And for me Xros Wars gave me a unique experience the other series and even anime couldn't give - super awesome Digimon characters and mecha rolled into one delicious anime.

I agree for the most part about Xros Wars, its just that S2 is trying so hard to keep Tagiru on the spotlight, I guess that is what happens when S1 set the bar at a certain level, the whole FlaWizardmon ep. just left me scratching my head especially OmegaShoutmon's reaction.

Wash it away with the ramen episode which, while filler, really makes a rather nice filler episode vs. that flawizardmon ep, and Locomon ep which makes Tagiru endearing.
