It's a slow paced game so quality mode for me.
The fuck?Another PC version that hurt Alex's *ussy.

Next time maybe watch the video? It's a great PC version.Another PC version that hurt Alex's *ussy.
Any info on the Series S? Remedy were quite vocal about its shortcomings a while back.Apparently, game is identical on PS5 and XSX, with the XSX having a very slim performance advantage (some dropped frames here and there on PS5).
I wouldn't trust any of the current performance videos that are out. Seems to look visually OK though.Any info on the Series S? Remedy were quite vocal about its shortcomings a while back.

Here's a different comparison but I don't know how reliable it is. The framerate in the thumbnail is clickbaity since the image is from what was obviously a blip in an otherwise smooth scene.I guess we need to wait for more reputable sources than this one.
Runs well but is a bit blurry.Any info on the Series S? Remedy were quite vocal about its shortcomings a while back.
Do NOT turn RT on in this game. it will destroy the framerate. no way to turn on rt reflections on their own which is disappointing but the game looks stunning without.
The biggest differentiator is the Post Processing effect. Keep it at high and take the massive 20% hit. Or you will see shimmering in a lot of places.
I’m going to go ahead and say absolutely turn RT on if you have a high-end NVIDIA card.
Well, it's not very reliable on pixel counting and some graphical details that it doesn't really understand, but the performance metrics aren't usually inaccurate. I think that in a more exhaustive analysis (DF, VG Tech...) they may find moments where PS5 has the advantage (in fact, with Control exactly that happened, there were moments where XSX had the advantage and vice versa), but I think that the Video metrics are correct and it seems that XSX has a better framerate.Thought we don't post that unreliable 's content here.
3440x1440 DLSS Quality with Frame Generation/Max settings and getting 100fps+ on an RTX 4090. Looks great and feels fantastic.Do NOT turn RT on in this game. it will destroy the framerate. no way to turn on rt reflections on their own which is disappointing but the game looks stunning without.

This guy is the worst, not least bit reliable going by his resume. A fanboy channel essentially. Here's a different comparison but I don't know how reliable it is. The framerate in the thumbnail is clickbaity since the image is from what was obviously a blip in an otherwise smooth scene.
I'm not surprised. Probably best to wait for NXG or DF to do theirs. This guy is the worst, not least bit reliable going by his resume. A fanboy channel essentially.
In the other thread people called it awesome. This video really shows how much of a joke FSR is compared to DLSS.

Do turn on RT in this game.
If you’re using frame generation then you’re not running at 100+ fps and I say this as someone who owns a 4090. I really wish people would stop counting fake frames. It’s like taking $50 worth of bills and combining it with another $50 worth of counterfeit bill then, trying to pass it off as $100. You still only have $50. I guess Nvidia’s idiotic marketing is working.3440x1440 DLSS Quality with Frame Generation/Max settings and getting 100fps+ on an RTX 4090. Looks great and feels fantastic.

If it feels smoother, I don't see the issue. I really can't tell the difference between actual 120fps and fake 120fps to be honest. If you’re using frame generation then you’re not running at 100+ fps and I say this as someone who owns a 4090. I'm sure you watched the video to know they this games settings are a bit of an absolute because those low settings look pretty good hence the confusion about how strep the requirements were and subsequent relief that's it's not as bad as was first perceived.Damn, PS5 running below PC medium Preset
Close enough.
Take the 1.43x the 3070 has over the PS5 and the ~1.45x my GPU is over the 3070 in this game and I'll arrive at over 2x PS5 performance on my GPU

Yup! If you have at least one of these (in this order)...I’m going to go ahead and say absolutely turn RT on if you have a high-end NVIDIA card.

3080What’s your card anyway?
3080. Rt makes no difference in the forest level. And took my fps from a locked 60 to mid 20s.What’s your card anyway?
The GI and direct lighting are already so good in this game that ray tracing does little to really enhance them. I also believe there is no dynamic time of day so that makes rt lighting really unnecessary.3080. Rt makes no difference in the forest level. And took my fps from a locked 60 to mid 20s.
I’m sure it adds better reflections in the town but they come at a way higher cost then rt reflections do in other games. I love rt reflections but not at this cost.
Where is that image from?
PS5 performs about 10% better than a 2070S at that point so it's right around the level of a 2080/S. Seems to be well optimized on every platform.

Was it from a written article? Because I don't remember seeing that in the video. From Beyond3D posted by Alex Battaglia.

It isn't. He's working on a follow-up video and posted this screenshot. It's not in the video nor the article. Was it from a written article? Because I don't remember seeing that in the video.
He didn't specify but my guess is the same CPU he was using in his other rig? Like a 12900K or 13700K, not sure. Whatever the case, the game is very light on CPU requirements.oh shit those 2070 super fps numbers. What CPU was he using?
