Albert went a little more in depth over at Reddit with regards to the 2nd GPU / stacked GPU stuff:

I didn't think it was festering because I thought I'd already commented on it. For some reason the DX12 announce seemed to make it resurface.
A missed thread in that tweet string which I think is important - I'm not interested in calling out any site. I see a lot of things on a lot of sites that aren't right. If I see something here I try to correct it as well.
My intention is not to give or take credibility from anyone. I'm just trying to set the record straight.

It's hard to stay on top of everything. I didn't realize this was different then the dual GPU stuff that had gone on before which I'd said wasn't true.
You really can't read anything into what I comment on or don't. I'm not a PR guy, and I don't have as much time to read and digest every piece of news - so I'm sporadic in things I reply to. I just happened to have a few minutes to kill today between meetings.
I'm not completely versed in the nuances of DX12 and how it will impact Xbox One. I know we're continually improving our tools for developers, as we did with Xbox 360, so you'll see consistent performance improvements over time.

No, no. See Penello does not want to reveal where it truly is. It is in the power brick and it isn't a second GPU, it is two CELLs salvaged from a bunch of used and broken PS3s that were bought en masse. They aren't currently activated because MS does not know how to harness their power properly and is still working to reverse engineer the technology. The dual CELL dream Sony had is coming, just watch.

This. Really, I think most of us here have already discussed or said what we could based on what we were given today on DX12. Now we wait until another conference for further details or more demos. If anyone else who hasn't posted or wishes to discuss as the day goes by, the thread is still here.

But don't worry, after today's AP tweet, I expect the MrX stuff here to go down quite a bit, the guy has absolutely nothing to stand on now. As it is we only bring him up for entertainment purposes. He is funny, so we discuss about him quite a bit when we can.

Just now Penello replied to a post in Reddit, so more discussion could come IF he says something about DX12.

By the gaming gods misterxmedia has just been a hell of a lot of fun to read today. Especially during the DX12 stuff, but especially after Albert's tweet. It's not quite meltdown levels but a lot of "shrugs lol i didn't believe insider anyways" even though they clearly did. There's some "how could microsoft let this happen" to.

I'll pick out a few choice bits. During DX12 stuff from misterx's "insider":

X1 will not have to wait till 2015 for dx 12 features. Build will see dx 12 patches shown. Forza 5 patch on x1 soon ... api updates available to all 3rd party developers by April beta available since February. Dx12 on xbox one is accelerated by hardware architecture.

all games will be 1080p 30/60 @ e3 ... more hardware talk specific to x1 at build.. gfx evolution @ e3. Expect leaked dx12 tech demo on x1 later today. ..

NVIDIA will support the DX12 API on all the DX11-class GPUs it has shipped; these belong to the Fermi, Kepler and Maxwell architectural families.

They do it every time, they even placed a TITAN for their Cloud GI rendering.

That means that it will be able to recover those GFlops that were previously lost because API overhead. Some realistic figure given DX11 performance.

and you still miss the fact that the top Layer GPU isnt the one that is capable of doing
DX12

its a old DX11 GPU like the Ps4 Hardware

with this DX12 info
we now 99,9% sure
that here is a bottem Layer GPU
and this Thing is DX12 Hardware

so we not only getting on par with the PS4 Hardware
(thats already done with the last SDK and the Memory controler optimization)

and Ryse is fully Done on the Top Layer
with a real Next Gen Engine
we cant imagine what this Thing is capable of
with the full Power of Little and Big
