I'm SO so happy that someone's finally went and made a legit rally game again. All these official WRC titles and things like Sebastian Loeb always try and fail because they try and cater to everyone.
Steam Early Access for PC is as close as you'll get right now.Is there a demo available for the game ?
Awesome.
No tech focused vids yet for consoles?
How do rally stages work online? I hope it's similar to Dirt 3 where cars line up then after one by one they launch to the same course.
I hope not, I hope you dont see other (ghosts)
why not? you can turn off collisions incase you catch someone. It's more realistic this way, granted I don't mind if everyone starts at the same time but I feel It adds a different dynamic to the rally, where the first car might have the pressure off since it isn't chasing any time but the last car will have the advantage of having a target time but will have more pressure on the driver.
Can't wait for this. It looks so good and finally a real Rally game.
So many people here not acknowledging Sebastian Loeb Rally as a real Rally game, you make yourself sound like "fanboys" of a game you haven't played yet, defending it against a game you haven't played neither.
Maybe some here just didn't know about SLR, but it's still kinda dismissive.
I'm gonna download the demo of Sebastian Loeb Rally now to qualify myself to comment on the quality of both games.

Absolutely, but treating the other game(s) as if they weren't there or as if they were too arcady or watered down to such a degree that they aren't "real rally games" is unfair and I felt like calling that out.Pretty understandable that people are excited about DR more.
Are you saying I'm off-topic or that it's cool to disqualify rally sims in here as long as they aren't called DiRT? (rhetorical question)Also... this is a Dirt Rally thread??
How is the difficulty compared to the previous games? Been out of the loop with DiRT Rally but did they go the full sim route this time around?
The previous games had JUST the right amount of realism for me.

Sebastian Loeb Rally.......come on! That game was always and always will be an inferior game!
But this may be my memories speaking! I loved my Colin McR games on my PS1
Sebastien Loeb Rally Evo isn't a fun game. It has its moments, but its handling is not very good. It's too bad, as the career mode and Loeb events offer a lot of gameplay and there was a lot of work put into that. But the fundamental gameplay is frustrating.
I didn't enjoy it all that much, and now loathe the idea of having to spend another 20 hours with it to beat its career. I'm a completionist and a masochist.
Hell yeah....game has been send out for delivery. Tomorrow gonna be gud![]()

Ah, at least it wasn't from a UK store then....but your still a git for getting it early.![]()

You'd probably like it even less, had your pedals worked. Maybe it's a still bugged demo, but shifting with the clutch engaged and leaving off the throttle will cause the rpms drop to zero more or less instantly - even in the Mini. We should probably be happy that Codemasters gambled on an existent market for a polished and pure rally game. And maybe their competitors should try early access as well and size/polish their game according to the interest(sales) unfolding over the early access period.I can dismiss SLR just on the basis that they do not have multiple control input device support. This means the game detects only my T300RS wheel but does not detect my Fanatec Clubsport V2 Pedals. On PC that is.
