Played a couple of matches with this. Seems like it's the best so far.

Nader will be in next and Execution mode unveiled

http://www.gamespot.com/articles/quake-wars-dev-s-next-shooter-adds-new-mode-map-an/1100-6426766/

Execution is Dirty Bomb's take on the classic "bombing run" game mode, with a series of attacking and defending rounds and one life per player. It's a fairly familiar ruleset for shooter players, but when you add in our Merc synergy and energetic action, it really feels like something different… suddenly a single Merc ability use can change an entire round, be it a timely revive on Proxy or Bushwhacker, a Heartbeat Sensor that reveals an enemy rush to a particular bombsite, or an Airstrike that wipes out an entire enemy team. Add the ability to swap Mercs in between rounds to counter the enemy's strategy, and it really makes for an interesting tactical battle outside of the moment-to-moment gameplay.

It is a prototype game mode, which means we plan to see what players think of it and evolve it rapidly before adding final polish.

I am liking this more and more. Still not sure about the payment model but it seems fine so far. I am terrible though, but I try to contribute with support classes.

I'm getting:

An error was encountered while processing your request:

This item is currently unavailable in your region

When I try to access their Steam page, I'm in the Middle East region now, is it banned here or have they not opened support for the region?

6vs6 or 7vs7 feels the best, everything else is just not balanced for those maps.
I have to say this game can really feel like ET sometimes, and that feeling is fantastic.

edit: are there still "beta keys" flying around? I would love one for a friend of mine.

Started playing this a couple of days ago and really like it. I used to be big into RTCW (playing in CAL and TWL when that was a thing) and Enemy Territory. I remember being really excited for Brink and well... you know.

I'm mainly sticking with Aura with a silver loadout with an SMG.

I got a key earlier in the week and I've been able to put a couple of hours a night into the game. I like what I've played so far, and the payment model doesn't bother me.

Have they given any kind of timeline for when the game is going into open beta? I've yet to have a problem finding a match, but the more the merrier in terms of population.

Last two games I played, the overwhelming majority on the team were Skyhammer or Arty. Like 5 out of 7. Not sure what was up lol. And everyone of them stuck to it. So in the first match had to play Sawbonez for the rest of the match after starting out well with Nader. Was probably my best performance as medic lol, got 3 badges or whatever regarding revives. What was frustrating though a lot of those guys didn't drop down ammo. Could have closed out the match earlier otherwise.

The second match when I saw the same setup decided to stay Nader. She's fun.

Also got a loadout for Arty which has a scopped burst rifle. I like that better than his default. Makes countering Vassili a bit easier imo.

Heh, I got a whole team of Nader the other round, no medic... fun...

I think this game still needs a fair bit of balancing. It's either one-sided or dead-end. It's not comparable but I think vanilla TF2 had one of the best MP balancing, not sure how to recreate that and what's the issue here. Maps, player base (diehard or newb). Maybe its a TAD too fast.
I enjoy the speed but I think it can benefit from a slower pace.

Would like to team up with gafer's too (EU).

Gametrailer also posted the vid and Dirty Bomb twitter RTd it. Never played him. Was he in when the Steam beta launched? Don't recall even meeting him in matches.

Yep he was in. Was one of the least played mercs which is why I was asking about the possible buffs, otherwise I don't see any reason why he was one of the most unpopular.

Anyone knows if GeDoSaTo triggers the anti-cheat ? The in-game AA is terrible so I'd like to try downsampling, I don't know if the input lag is going to be bad or not but might as well give it a try.

Also Alienware added more keys on the link above. There're 8k up for grabs now.

First 3 games I play. Dude aimbotting every time, spamming chat trying to sell his hack.
Not a very good impression.

Game looks fun, though.

Hoping the next merc is going to be an Assault. I appreciate that SD is adding mostly utility/support mercs right now but if I wanna do some heavy hitting there's not much else to pick other than Fragger.

Also that Bungalow dude on the stream was really wrecking shit up with his Fragger.

Bungabunga I think lol. He also had 1-2 medic accompany him lot of times.

Also, I think on the forums I saw people expecting/wanting RedEye before Fletcher hit. So far Thunder and Rhino are the other Fragger type mercs, right?

Yeah assaults are Thunder, Fragger, Rhino and Nader. Thunder being a bit of a weird case because : 1) he was one of the weakest mercs in the game in terms of firepower 2) his ability is sort of a support one (and to be frank it was quite terrible too).
I don't really enjoy playing Nader so I'm mostly waiting for Rhino to come back right now, even if he was pretty situational and inferior to Fragger in a lot of ways I really liked him.

Also Bungalow is better nick

Oh yeah, forgot Nader lol. Maybe because she isn't as robust and is faster than the others and has an SMG as primary.

Fletcher is in free rotation now, going to try him out.
