Isn't Voom pricey now that they don't have all their promotional stuff going on? I decided against Voom because of how many channels were missing from the selection. It sounded nice, but there are a lot of holes in the lineup.

Discovery HD Theatre is amazing in 1080i. It's a sight to behold.

Just a shame that Chater HD only offers 5 pure HD channels so far

It's $50/month + $10/month for equipment (if you don't buy it). I thought it was pretty comparable to the competition.

I watched a show about Disney World on Discovery HD Theatre once. It was fantastic. I love theme park shows and it was even better in HD. I can't wait to go home for Thanksgiving and watch some more HDTV.

umm.. one you've had your set for more than two weeks the channel will seriously wear off on you...

best HD channel right now is ABC (Lost and Desperate Housewives). Second place is CBS (CSI, Without a Trace, Cold Case, NFL). Though UniversalHD which launches 12/1 could take the lead... Stargate, Monk and Universal movies in HD.. drooooll...
