more games should do it.

How can I enable SGSSAA with ATI 7970?
EDIT:.
Yeah, tried 10C1...no dice. Probably can't get MSAA working at all. Maybe disabling it might help my SGSSAA performance.
edit: disabling MSAA breaks SGSSAA.
I changed the FOV in the folder I was supposed to. I go to the slider in game and it still reads 85 for the top. Would the numbers change in game?
If it's UE3 based then it'll probably run well.
I'm using this bit 0x004040C1 for 4xSGSSAA and keep 60fps until the fillrate goes to shit with fog or something, just like with any other game. I also turned SSAO on in the ini, it's off by default for some reason, it can take a second to load in sometimes, maybe that's why. And I upped the min and max shadow res.

Thanks. These settings work perfectly for me. Steady 60fps with my GTX 690 at 2560x1600. And the IQ is gorgeous for me.weird. Forcing this through inspector:

and it works, but the whole game seems to have gotten way blurry. In-game AA methods are off.
So there's no supersampled AA for AMD cards?
How do you up the shadow resolution? Looks kinda blocky for me.
Oh shit, there is a way to turn on SSAO? Trying this out as soon as I'm home.
Just did some comparisons and nah, it doesn't seem to do anything.

bUseMaxQualityMode=True This removes shadows on non-static objects, and glitches up the specular shading on water at certain angles. Leave it FALSE.
TextureForcedLODBias=4 High number means lower detailed LODs will be loaded at a closer distance than normal. Leave it 0. (Making it a negative number might even make the highest detailed LODs last for longer distances, like -2)
bAllowHardwareShadowFiltering=True Yup, good.
SkeletalLODDistanceFactorMultiplier=4 Same as TextureForcedLod, put 0.
iType_AntiAlias=32 This isnt an antialiasing multiplier. This is a switch for AA modes. It even says it beside the line in the dev comment. (EPpAa_None=0, EPpAa_Mlaa=1,). And if EPpAa_Fxaa= is 2, then that is ignored anyways and FXAA is used.
bAllowRatsShadow=True Yup, good.
MaxAnisotropy=16 Yup, good. Id put it up to 32 if you have the power.
ShadowFilterQualityBias=4 Bad, same as texturelod. Put 0.
MaxShadowResolution=4096 Good.
MaxWholeSceneDominantShadowResolution=4096 Good
Bummer but the game is already beautiful as it is.
Great shots scitek, does SSAO butcher performance ?
Edit : oh it does not work![]()
Fuck yeah, game doesnt support 5:4 resolution ratio.
Thanks Arkane, now i have a game, i cant properly play...
Bummer. Get a new monitor!
Also, anyone with a 4830/4850/8800/9800 can tell me how this runs?

Has anyone noticed that the deadzone when using a 360 wired controller is a bit small? If I'm just resting my thumb on the right stick my head will slowly turn right.
Is there an .ini file where you can adjust this?
5:4 works fine for me. What does the game say when you try running it?
Using FXAA and I think the game looks like crap (i7 3820, 32GB RAM, GTX 690) - should I switch to MLAA?? I guess I have only been through the first 20 minutes but so far I think it's pretty bland.

lul wut
MLAA? FXAA?
Come on, son. Turn that shit off and enable SGSSAA.
SSAO can be forced through control panel, but impact is pretty large

This game is in serious need of some Hi-res textures, great game nevertheless.
