I agree though. It is a fantastic album. Plainsong is a beautiful opener. Shed some tears when I unexpectedly heard it in Marie Antoinette back in '06. Like no shit, goosebumps all over.

Love that cover. Also love Homesick by Rosetta, along similar lines.

Also, completely agree with OP. It's one of my favourite albums, just shockingly good.

And Disintegration and Homesick on the Encore album are possibly the best those songs have ever sounded. Just an incredible 1-2 punch.

Chris Ott's reworking of Wish, using new mixes and swapping out some of the album tracks for superior b-sides, is one of the best things I've gotten a hold of.

Pornography is a fantastic album, but I feel like the production shows its age a bit. I much prefer the live versions of the songs - the Trilogy DVD is a great starting point for that as it has all the songs in the same order as the album.
