The only scenario in which Darryl flips town and weemad is scum is if the scum team had a switcher, correctly guessed Darryl would look into weemad and switched him with the actual Tania. If so, they hit jackpot because it's going to be hard to prove.

It's ridiculously unlikely but is an alternative I'm willing to entertain due to how weemad's been playing. At least it's not as unlikely as the recruiting narrative wee's been trying to push.

I didn't really think about it. But yea, that's possible. Weemad is acting really weird though. He could've cleared this up very quickly, instead he decided to make yet another act of it. So far revealing Princess names has been winning the game for us. It's even caught us our first scum (Anastasia). So, where all this fear comes from is really displaced and undeserved. What he's afraid of makes little sense in the context of our game, which makes me think he's paranoid. And paranoid people will go jump through a lot of hoops to achieve their anxiety relief.

I find it very hard to believe that with a claimed commuter (which scum will avoid), an option for a double-kill from scum N1, and a pair of lovers (where it would be easy to target the other), that we've had only 1 night death so far from a claimed vig. Either the scum team has sat on their hands all game (unlikely) or town has gotten extremely lucky with doctor, roleblocks, and whatnot.

I had votes on CM and Darryl. I didn't think a last-minute bandwagon on CM would take off, and between AB and Darryl I wanted to save the claimed cop to see what he would give us for one night.

Your conclusion is that I will
a) telegraph an override, which is inconsistent with how I've played so far (I'm very unforthcoming)
B) use an override when the person I want lynched has a clear majority and I'm the only person with an active vote on a different player
C) acknowledge publicly that I have an override, thus making me the target for night killing, as well as day killing if town members think I'll make bad choices

We would still look at Wee. If he's not Tiana, someone else is. And I have no glaring problems with any current name claims. The ones like Ariel, Giselle, TB, Nala, the twins, etc, are being corroborated by another or are too circumstantial to have been claimed in a scum like manner. So that's a decreased pot of princesses that could be scum.

I copped him originally because I thought he was scum. So if he's denying his result, and in the way that he is doing it, I can't confirm him as town (I can confirm someone else as town who will claim the name). So I think he could be scum, trying to hide his scum name? Seems most likely

Enker - I voted for Exodus on Wednesday, was not able to make it on the thread on Thursday, and I am never on the day of the deadline unless I am off of work. So that explains why I didn’t move my vote. I speculate Christina kept his vote on Exodus to try and seem ahead of the curve if the bandwagon had switched of Darryl in the last minute rush.

The first thing that jumps out at me is Terra’s logic appears to be the same as before (bolding people who haven’t changed votes given the discussion taking place) yet I am not bolded this time. Mistake, or deliberate? And if deliberate, deliberate from a Town or Scum perspective? I’ll think on that.

gryvan - Seems a bit too anxious to try and get more role data from PRs - suspicious.

Zatoth - I use the “Enker Line” as a good indicator of minimum acceptable activity as I don’t post that much overall. Kind of like the Mendoza Line. By that standard, having a known situation where I can’t post during the most post-worthy final rush, they are posting just enough to seem average and should seem suspicious on that alone. That said, combine it with what Royal Flush is bringing up, and a definite scum candidate is born.

Ferret - appears Town to me in terms of questioning stuff. I think his vote for Chair was legitimately trying to put a little fear in a potential newbie scum. I can absolutely see not wanting to pick a side in yesterday’s fracas.

Early on there's very little to go by, you might argue that the reasons I've listed are exactly why he's town. WIFOM, half-full/half-empty etc. My gut is telling me scum and not complaining about the "grey stuff " I had for dinner.

Saying Darryl is acting very town, yet also still appearing opposed to him, at this time when there's no pressure anyway so the argument won't hurt. Basically a meaningless vote and argument, but still trying to set himself up in opposition to the other player.

Despite this earlier opposition, was adamant about lynching Absolutbro, over Darryl, on Day 2. Became pretty active on this specific topic over a short period of time.

So basically you lied about your PR. This whole thing stinks like a setup.

4 pages ago he was willing to be voted out to prove his point. I'm not feeling that anymore.

Then he never changed his vote off AB for the rest of the day, even after all the nonsense. The pressure on Darryl on Day 1, followed by the heavy offense on AB day 2, when Darryl was the other candidate, makes me totally fine with a Darryl lynch today.

Was the third to jump on the Exodu5 bandwagon when that was picking up after that first bout of roleclaims. This is about the point where I always feel like scum wouldn't vote for their partner. It is too dangerous for it to start picking up momentum. Obviously safer when the majority is 10+, but still, points for Exodu5.

Couple comments on Anna/Elsa team. Probably just general reactions, but might be something to look back on after more flips:

First weemadarthur suggests one of the lovers is scum and now you? So what is it, is one of them scum or both? How does that even work?

The Cheshire Cat perched nimbly upon a nearby tree, its tail slowly swaying to and fro below it. It purred softly, watching the mob below shout at each other at the top of their lungs.

One woman was finally shoved forward, a beautiful lady by the entrancing name of "Darryl." The crowd pointed their fingers at her, shouting, "She isn't a princess! She's certainly not an aged version of a princess, either!"

Darryl pleaded with the Cat, dropping to her knees and begging for mercy. "Please, Cheshire Cat. I'm so very tired of this dance. I can't take it anymore - may I just leave in peace?"

A wide grin appeared on the Cheshire Cat's face. "Dance, you say? What a marvelous idea!" The Cat snapped its claws together, and suddenly, a fireplace appeared, with a pair of metal...things, sitting on top of the flame.

Darryl gazed at the flame, her eyes wraught with fright. "No...no! Please let me go! At least go with the Disney interpretation if you must dispatch me!"

"Where's the fun in that, my dear?" The Cheshire Cat purred.

The metal items soon glowed bright red as Darryl knelt on the ground, trembling uncontrollably, her tears staining the ground below her. The Cheshire Cat snapped its claws together once more, and the red hot iron shoes suddenly appeared on Darryl feet, and she leapt into the air with a wild yelp.

"DANCE! DANCE FOR THE PRINCESSES!" The crowd cheered.

Darryl, unable to remove the scorching hot apparatus, jumped around awkwardly, screaming in pain. The flesh on her feet began to burn away, and an acrid odor permeated the air, causing the princesses to wrinkle their noses in disgust. The skin on her legs began to peel away, and the blood boiled before draining onto the ground, steam rising slowly from the puddles. Darryl let out a horrific wail as the pain became absolutely unbearable. She crumpled to the ground, unconscious from the pain, as the fire continued to burn and scald her flesh, eventually damaging her enough to let the crowd watch her life slowly ebb away.

The Cheshire Cat snapped its claws once more and the iron boots disappeared.

"There. Now you're pretty."

The earth opened up underneath her remains and swallowed her up whole in a matter of a flash, taking her away from our Magical Kingdom and dumping her back in that other world, where everything is 100% less magical and 100% more ordinary.

...

Darryl opens his eyes and finds himself sitting in front of the dressing table. There is loud music coming from the main room, and he can hear his name vaguely being announced to come up next. He looks at his face on the mirror, and his face stares back at him, tired and hollow. He looks down and sees that he’s wearing some kind of a costume. A lewd cowboy’s outfit with exposed buttocks. And high-heeled boots.

“Please, now, welcome to the stage! Our very own meow with a rawr, Darryl!”

Darryl sighs and walks up to the bright lights and the nameless, grinning faces in the dark beyond.

“DANCE! DANCE FOR US!”

He starts his strip-dance number and the audience laps it up hungrily.

Epilogue: A cat purrs thankfully to Ouroborellia, the most beautiful and smartest Princess in all the Kingdoms.

Darryl has been removed from the Kingdom.
