Dissidia Final Fantasy: Opera Omnia will end service on February 29, 2024 worldwide, Square Enix announced (2). All in-game gem sales have ceased as of this announcement.

The free-to-play mobile RPG first launched for iOS via App Store and Android via Google Play on February 1, 2017 in Japan, followed by January 23, 2018 worldwide.

According to Square Enix, the decision to end service was made after it concluded that it would be difficult to provide satisfactory service going forward. When service ends, it will have run for seven years in Japan and six years worldwide.

Gilgamesh Fan Annoyance
This is depressing since it's one of the few mobile games with generous free handouts, decent writing for what it is and good gameplay. Square Enix is foolish to not go the Megaman X Dive route. What a joke.

Is this their plan to shift the DFFOO audience over to Ever Crisis? Because I don't see that happening.
