DJMAX Technika tune (Vita) Features music from KARA.

Holy crap the game is awesome, was pretty worried about the little screen, but it fits just perfect

And really really good audio quality :3

i'm playing with Phiaton Ms400 on and it sounds just perfect

the touch screen is almost too sensitive, extremely accurate and the same goes for the rear one, not that i'm going to use it, for what i care i like to play with both hands without holding the device

btw there's an option to turn eng sub on and i didn't know that, nice

Yeah I'm just going to wait for something Canadian or Amazon. UPS is going to find a way to tax me some stupid charges.

K, i'm having huge problem adapting to the smaller screen, i always end up covering the screen and i just can't follow the action at times

Intermediate songs are already a huge clusterfuck when i had zero problems at the arcades

And wow, they actually did make Kara's songs worst o_o

this is goonna take some time to get used to

I imagine the rear-touch functionality was implemented to prevent clusterfucks as well, and not just to accommodate people who are holding the system. Seems like the thing is just too damn small for two fingers across six lanes.

Also that's good to hear about the free shipping within the US on the standard edition. I'll consider picking it up through them again, but not until I can get free shipping without having to wait on a potentially gimmicky refund.

Since DJMax Ray turned out to be PoS (re-skinned Tap Sonic) I will most likely get Vita once the game hits the US. Muramasa helps a bit with that decision, but still...

So Amazon is going to list the game until it's closer to the release?
(I know the website is keeping all preorders and such apparently first)

Tried to find the Japanese limited edition in a bunch of stores in my area but to no avail. Ended up buying the standard version instead. Been playing for two hours and I love it despite being piss poor at it.

This has been a great week for me as far as music games are concerned with the release of this on Vita and my local arcade getting Beatmania IIDX Tricoro installed just the other day .

I just got the Japanese limited edition in the mail today. Really nice extras. Love the art book a lot. Been playing the game the past few hours and wow, what a great game. Its quite tough for me but its been a blast. Im having a hard time putting this game down. I never thought I would have two great music games for the vita this early in its life. What a great game. I just wish I was faster at the back pad button pushes.

I hope there is DJMAX Portable 4 for the Vita at some point. As much I know I'll love this one, it won't satisfy my fix for juicy button mashing craziness.

I think my small thin nerdy computer fingers are going to love this.

Although I still might opt for the rear-touch mode. Things just seem to get so hectic in the normal mode.

But then I guess I wouldn't get to hit any double notes, and that's no fun :\

Loving the game. It's amazing how accurate the front and back touches are. Haven't seen everything yet but I'm enjoying the music selection, and the production quality of the game is quite high.

To anyone hoping for some portable Technika, I don't think you will be disappointed.

Glad to hear it! To be honest, I'm not even expecting much as far as the "portable" part goes, since I can't see this being easy to play in a car or while standing in line. Seems like it'll be best with a table to lay the Vita on and lean over. But just being able to play it at home will be awesome enough.

whoa whoa whoa is this game ALL TOUCH?
Hype just plummeted =/

That's really the entire point of Technika compared to DJ Max.

It looks so cramped and delicate to play in all the videos I've seen compared to the arcade. Even so, can't wait to get my hands on it. Love Technika and I'll take it in any form I can get it. I just hope they do a proper tablet version next year to give the game the screen real estate it deserves.

Yes, I should mention that this will definitely be a bit tough to play on-the-go. If you don't use the back-touch, you definitely need to use both hands for the touch screen. If you use the back touch, you can handle playing with Vita-in-hand, but I definitely recommend a wrist strap!

And as far as the small screen -- It definitely isn't perfect (wish an iPad version of Technika was coming...) but I didn't have that big of a problem adjusting. I still have some trouble with pressing two buttons at the same time with one hand, sometimes. I do have relatively small hands (I guess?), so maybe those with bigger hands will find it tougher to adjust.

And BTW, the only review on Amazon.jp for the game so far is from a music game lover who initially rejected the idea of a touch-screen music game, and he gave it 5 stars XD

Anyone know if the Japanese edition has the Japanese versions of the Kara songs? And does the US have Korean versions?

Play it first, seriously.

Don't think you should be worried about touch controls. Impressions here look positive. :p

But. I was waiting on this instead of rebuying DJ Max 2 on PSP DL...I am disappoint.
*sigh*

Well I guess it's similar to EBA right? So this will be Playstation EBA? Sure that's what I'll tell myself.

And for the record I had no idea Technika was a touch based entry,

There are plenty of videos and such of the Arcade version you can find.
It's actually an extremely good rhythm game in its own right.

You are making this month long wait unbearable. Hatsune Miku better buckle down for a while...
