Do any of you regret your username?

I've had this username since 1995 before Private Parts even came out. I've kept it from IRC, to the IGN Boards and on both incarnations of GAF. I don't ever think of Stern anymore when i look at my handle, i like it now.

No regrets. Has a certain gravitas and just flows off your tongue.

I love my username and was actually surprised when I got it considering the amount of GAF members. Maybe it's too generic and not desirable for most people?

Mine is the first thing I thought of before playing Counterstrike for the first time right before 1.3 dropped. So no, it's fine with me.

it's their lack of emotions ...

wait.

i wanted to get something that wasn't common and at the same time sounded foreign.
i was also watching some inuyasha subbed episodes at the time since the dub in my country stopped airing before it got to the last episodes that were made at the time.

i regretted it for a while when i thought the series wasn't getting an ending but now with the final act, i'm cool with it. at least it is not my old username which i dislike now.

Not at all, its the 'diminutive' of my real name. I got that nickname on my previous job, sadly ive found that im not the only one using it. (The Fersis guy on Steam is not me!!! Im Fersis_Slim)

I made this one in a hurry. Not the worst name but it's not what I wanted.

What I wanted was Zap Rowsdower but some guy is already using Rowsdower. Guy hasn't even posted since May of 2008. That jerk is letting a great name go to waste.

Not really. Every now and then I wish I didn't have the surname as some people unfamiliar with the name think of it as some anime name or something. I keep thinking of asking a mod someday, but it really isn't a priority or bothersome thing.

Sometimes I think maybe I shouldn't have gone with an anime inspired name, but hell, at least this one isn't nearly as common as KagEBushinGokuxxx2213 or whatever. So I'm cool with it. Though I do hate the rare occasion when it is taken on some forum or something, because I always add the number 16 at the end, making people think I'm actually 16 years old. (I'm 20 btw.)

GAF's members? Let me tell you about GAF's members.

Noo, I even didn't capitalize it on purpose to bother people who like things capitalized.

No way, I just wish some xbox 1 asshole hadn't registered it as a gamertag as its sat unused for 4 years and I want it.

you wouldn't believe how many times I've tried to get "bjork" at various places and it's registered to some kooky foreign broad.

I regret that mine has numbers in it, which almost nobody else has. I probably should have picked one of my other non-numeric names, like Coldhands or Beefs Baby Hands McGee, but this is my generic one. Although I guess it does kind of make mine unique in a way.

I'm quite happy with my username. I would have preferred if it was "Fairy Enchanted Dildo" but FairyD for short is good enough.

Mine is relatively new. 1-2 years of using this username. I thought I was being clever, as I was referencing Teddy Ruxpin; realizing later that I actually had it misspelled. It works out though, as whenever I register for anything online, ruxtpin never seems to be taken. =P Now I use it for everything - PSN, XLB, etc.

I've had this name since before I could fully articulate the concept of irony. I like it, though. Shame I couldn't have jdogmoney on Xbox Live, though. Had to get jdogmoney42 as my handle.

For those with regrets, you can PM a mod/admin politely and they will change it to whatever you like most of the times.

I really lucked out getting "Jon", especially since I'm a relative GAF rookie. I'm not much for weird internet handles--my name is Jon.

Nope, I like mine. It's not my original when I first got onto the internet, and I've only had it since 2003/2004, but it's way better than my old name. I named myself in an mmorpg Crucible because of the book, and now I use either Crucible, Crusje, or Cruceh. Oh, and I have Kyaaaaa for xbox live, haha, and I like it.

Not really. It's nice having something short and sweet. It was originally meant to be a Dune reference. Managed to snag it on XBL and PSN, but it was already taken on Steam. =/

Sometimes the kids on XBL will call me a "rag-head" or the like, but I don't care.
It's pronounced nāb, not ny-ē-b. Tools.

My AIM handle on the other hand.. great shame.

My original forum name on various forums I frequented in the late 90s was based off Joe from the original Digimon and Mewtwo. :lol

Definitely. Makes me look like some kind of farmer or some shit when in actuality I hate both corn and festivals. I've just used it for everything so now I can't get rid of it. The worst part is that there is a real concert called the Corn Fest.
