Do you buy bottled water or drink from tap?

The only bottled water I buy is sparkling.

Though I think I'll buy one of those old-fashioned soda pitchers with CO2 cartridges.

Tap water is 'free' in Scotland, so that.

(Included in a tax you already pay so you can use as much water as you like for 'free')

Do it. I do not regret the CO2 machine. Haven't bought sparkling bottles since.
It's not actually a machine. It's one of those stainless steel thermos thingies with a glass insert and a pressurised spigot. Pretty fancy, but expensive. Used to be all the rage about a quarter century ago. The old man owned one until the gaskets went out.

Tap but the tap water here in Colorado is pretty great. I've tried tap in a few other places, mainly Texas when visiting family and that tap water is plain nasty. Had to buy bottled water then. Didn't realize how good I had it up here

Tap for me; the well water in my area of NJ is pretty good. I will occasionally buy a bottle if I'm going on a road trip or something, though.

I buy jugs of distilled water. Most bottled water tastes like tap water to me. Which is to say terrible.

Bottled water. I mean for little over $4 you can get like 35 bottles of water. That should last anyone a good week or two unless you're housing like 5-6 people.

Or, pay 0 for unlimited bottles from the tap.

Our city water supply is great imo (Manchester NH)...I have a pitcher and a couple used water bottles and refill and toss in the fridge as needed. At work we have filtered coolers dotted around the building. I've been using those Tang flavor-squirt things if I want some flavor.

I admit I will buy one of the raspberry flavored Dasani on occasion, though.

A bit of both. I buy bottled just for the convenience of grabbing it out the fridge ice cold or for taking some with me in the car and on my commute to work. Also use a britta filter pitcher.

Water is included w/ maintenance so it's pretty much use whatever.

Bottled water than just refill them with tap water. Replace bottle every month. Don't care if reusing a bottle is "bad" or not.

He wasn't alone.
Zero water pitcher, then bottles, then tap. Coffee and tea are made with tap. I would like to get a whole house filtration solution someday.

Shocking that so many people on what is normally a very goody-goody forum drink bottled water. That shit is TERRIBLE for the world in many ways.

tap most of the time. I keep bottle water for emergency outages or when sick. The only time I have entirely depended on bottled water was in bangkok. Apparently that crap is not edible, and the day I did it because of being used to it, I went paranoid about getting sick.

Bottled sparkling--Pellegrino, Mineragua, etc.. I can't stand regular still water anymore.

It's an expensive habit, but one of the few I have and I won't give it up.

Scottish water is great, even unfiltered so mostly that.

I reuse bottles but for cleanliness sake I'll occasionally buy bottled water every other month.

I suppose touting how progressive you are about conservation isn't quite as prestigious as other causes people loudly champion here.

Tap water in a thermos for me. Dump in a bunch of ice in the morning and it will generally get me about three refills through the day before the ice fully melts.

From the tap. I don't buy cans of soft drinks or drink tea/coffee so water from the tap in my main source of drinking with occasional fresh orange juice watered down by half for a light drink, I found it too sweet and thick to drink neat.

No idea how North West/Manchester UK water is by global standards but it looks, tastes clean, nice and refreshing to me.

Carbonated mineral water only. I'm not gonna get 2000mg/l minerals out of tap water.

Please do not let me serve on a jury. I am actually a crazy person.
Tap. I really hate bottled water, unless it's nearly frozen.
(Rome. Reportedly from a aqueduct that's been standing for 2300 years)

Always tap. Never bottled if I can help it.

It's horrible for the environment, wasteful, and a scam. They've convinced people that if water has any taste to it it's bad for you.

Bottled water.

Not because I buy it, I do it sometimes, but because My parents and My work office just emphasis on bottled water so why not.

Tap when I am on my own.

In New York City (where I live), tap water or filtered tap water is the best.

In New Jersey, it's disgusting, but drinkable if filtered. I recently started working at the New Jersey office of a company as an intern, and every time I visit their New York office for an event, I dump my bottle of nasty New Jersey water and fill it up with precious New York water.

I only buy bottled water if I'm outside and need water.

I am genuinely shocked by the amount of bottled water purchases on here

I have a Brita filter, I fill that guy up with tap and keep a big nalgene bottle on me at all times. Try to drink at least 2 full nalgene bottles a day. Think I'm gonna move away from the nalgene and get one of those fancy new insulated hydro flasks because plastic seems to be a no-no all around

Buying bottled water is bad for your wallet and the environment, so this just seemed like a no-brainer to me
