I recognize more than half the people who've posted in this thread by their avatars and posting "personalities"

Lmao at that Monk quote. He's one of my favorite posters on here.
 
I don't want to be recognizable so I adopt multiple "posting styles". I can switch on the fly. Forum Chameleon.

I'm very passionate about posting and generating #content.
 
I don't have Avatars turned on, which forces me to read and recognize names. So I've matched a lot of names with posting styles over the years.

Especially yours.
 
I recognize quite a few people based on their avatars. I even remember quite a few old ones. A year or 2 later I discover they were banned when I start searching old threads which kind of sucks.

Since I mostly recognize people by avatar I have added a couple of people to my contact list just so I can remember their names better because they make some good posts. Sometimes I'm a bit disappointed when I see a meetup thread and my favorite posters don't seem to be in the tri-state area.

I recognize most of the regulars in the sort of threads I am likely to post in. I also recognize a lot of the longer term posters.

EDIT: Scanning the thread before my post, I recognize about 30 of you by Avatar. Maybe 20 by the sorts of posts you have made in the past.
 
All mods, Slavik81, SalsaShark, Gaborn (RIP), Seth_C, Cheesemeister, Faithless, and almost everyone in the Indie Dev thread.

I recognize probably 75% of avatars and about 50% of usernames.

I don't think I post enough to be truly recognizable, but I haven't changed my avatar in like 3 years, so that helps.
 
I recognize about half of the people posting in this thread. I know well about four of them. I am close to two. One is my brother.
 
Yep, I usually identify posters more by avatars than by name and there are a handful of avatars I have engrained in my mind that illicit an automatic "safe to scroll past" response whenever I see them.

Yea I gaf in between my sex sessions with supermodels and my basketball games with pro athletes.

Nah it's just that gaming side is full of a bunch of condescending,billion-dollar-company dick riders. So many fanboys on that side it's annoying.

Shit, the other day there was a thread on only listening to gaming soundtracks. Wtf? There's a lot of better and different music out there.

In this thread i recognize almost everyone. I'm pretty good at reminding names, numbers etc.
