So far there have been three Metroid games with multiplayer modes, Metroid Prime 2 for GC, Metroid Prime Hunters for DS and Metroid Prime Federation Force for 3DS.

Considering how hard Nintendo is pushing online this gen with their GameChat, do you think Metroid Prime 4: Beyond will have some sort of multiplayer to make use of it?





Personally I think it'll get a quite simple MP functionality and that Metroid Prime 5 will get a great one.

I have no idea, but personally a solid single player experience is the priority for me.

With the Switch 2's emphasis on multiplayer and chat and all that, I worry that they'll shoehorn in multiplayer somehow to make it check off those boxes.

But I can see them bringing back Metroid Prime Hunters in some form since Stylux was born out of that game
