There are so many ways to eat that ooey gooey center of an egg, whether it's fully cooked, raw, or slightly jammy.

What's your favorite way to eat your eggs? Did I miss any preparation methods?

I'm personally all about that runny style, ideally with some toast and bacon. 😋

if it's a fried egg i like it a bit runny bit not absolutely gooey. i hate it if it's completely hard. i like to dip stuff into it or soak the yolk up with whatever else i'm eating.

if it's a boiled egg it has to be hard. i hate gooey boiled eggs. i can tolerate a tiny bit of goo but it needs to be mostly solid.

This is a great response thread.

Same answer.

It depends on the level of Yolkness.

It's not the consistency of the yolk that matters, but rather which end of the egg that you crack shall determine if we are friend or foe.

Why isn't there an all of the above option?

I love eggs every way they are cooked

Also nice thread timing, I just finished scrambling some eggs and I'm eating them right now lmao

Everytime I go abroad those motherfuckers never know how to do a fried egg properly. It always looks like someone out the back has jizzed all over it

Cook the fucking thing man!

I once did that when I was away from home and very hungry in the middle of the night. I don't think I was able to swallow the raw egg as it was the most disgusting thing ever. If one really has to eat it raw it's better to mix it with sugar and flour and whisp it together to a dessert.

Same with runny eggs, I really don't like the taste of it and hearing someone say "sunny side up" gives me shivers.

I'm yet to experience raw eggs. One of the worst things I've eaten was a cold tin of mushroom soup, with diced up magic mushrooms mixed in. The taste was vile, but I chugged it down like a trooper.

When I was a kid, my mom made us scrambled eggs every weekend. I am not sure what happened but about maybe 20 years ago, just the thought of eggs makes me gag. I can cook them for my family or use them to bake stuff, but now I REEEEEEAAAAAAALLLLLYYYY have to be in thr mood for eggs and it must be in an omelet with sausage or bacon. Even typing this up, just the thought of eating an egg has me close to gagging. I never got sick from eating eggs, just one day a switch flipped.
