Just set it to an emulated wiimote and then enter in the button presses.

It doesn't recognize hardly any of the button presses. I assume I'm missing a plugin, but I can't find any options for plugins in the config in the first placerichisawesome said:Just set it to an emulated wiimote and then enter in the button presses.

Ummmm I thought I would test Wind Waker in full res on my Imac 27".... HOLY SHIT it looks so damn amazing and is running like a dream? I didn't think Dolphin would work in 2560 by 1440 or whatever the Imac resolution is? This is actually better looking than any 360/PS3 game...

Cool, I have a maxed out 2011 mbpro so performance should be similar. How does F-zero run?Sutton Dagger said:Yeah, I should have reposted. It runs full frames on the initial island but slows a little when things get more hectic, down to like 26-27 frames when running at 2560x1440. If I set it to 1080p it runs at full speed all the time and still looks incredible. So happy with it.

Ps. Are you using bootcamp? I'm assuming Dolphin osx is not quite there yet.
Stupacabra said:Apologies if this is answered anywhere else in the thread, but does anyone know how to get more virtual storage space with this emulator? I'm not sure how saves work, and I'd like to think this emulator can get around the data restrictions that make sense on the console, but not so much on a PC.
JoshuaJSlone said:I've been playing with Dolphin's ability to rip individual files (or all of them) from GCN/Wii disc rips. It's been especially fun to run across the odd set of sounds that will play in Winamp without any plugins I didn't already have. In particular: Super Mario Galaxy, New Super Mario Bros., and F-Zero GX were some of them I was pleased to see. Rockin' that Captain Falcon music.
Also allows me to find out interesting things like that while Super Mario Sunshine is a 1.1 GB game, only 257 MB of it isn't FMV.

autobzooty said:What does it mean if I'm getting exactly the same performance out of F-Zero GX when I have 1080p with AA on as I do when I run it natively with AA turned off? Am I missing something here or is the emulator just not up to speed yet?
System specs are:
CPU - Intel Core i7 920 overclocked to 3.5 GHz
GPU - Nvidia GTX 560 Ti
On some tracks I get close to 60 FPS, but on some it dips all the way down to 30 and the game runs at half speed.
A 3.5 GHz OC on a 920 isn't exactly unusual. Some people have seen upwards of 4GHz clocks on lucky chips. I'm running a 4GHz OC on a 920 myself, around 37-47C for all cores.Lord-Audie said:what cooling do you have that you can OC an i7 920 to 3.5?
At what temps are you running ?

Typical load is around 57-63C. 100% tickles 70C. Using a Noctua NH-D14.TheExodu5 said:autobzooty: it means you're CPU limited in that game.
Those aren't load temps, unless you're running watercooling.

Yup. It's been a great CPU since I bought it. Highest it's hit is 76C after about 8 hours at 100% load. I'll probably use watercooling for my next build, since prebuilt watercooling systems are becoming more efficient and readily available, but Noctua's air cooling has served me very well.TheExodu5 said:70C is a nice temp for a 4.0GHz 920.

Audie, just from looking at that build I'd say you could shave off a bit of heat if you'd orient your fan so it pulled air from over your RAM instead of the hot air off your GPU. But that would require reseating your heatsink.
Last major UI change before release.
- Moved display related options in the "Display" tab from the general config to the gfx config, renamed the tab to "Interface"
- Moved Wiimote related options in the "Wii" tab from the general config to the wiimote config
- Moved various other options to more appropriate places ("Set Console as NTSC-J", "Skip GC BIOS"
- Dropped "Window Size" adjustment
- Now displaying a warning if one tries to enable software rendering
- Other minor changes

Oh, Punch-Out is working again? Good.jediyoshi said:*Punch-Out screens*
Assuming you are on a newish bulid. If you're running in a window make sure you've set the window to resize correctly and if you're full screen make sure you're using that option. I remember in older bulids it liked to change my resolution at random (but these were the ones where you full control rather than limited by the drop-down list).L0st Id3ntity said:Why is my in-game resolution stuck at 1460x914 no matter what I set it the config to?

Do you mean under the Device dropdown in the Wiimote Configuration section (assuming it's being emulated as a 360 controller) that 'XInput/0/Gamepad' (which should be what corresponds to your gamepad) isn't listed sometimes?
