The small possibility of Trump becoming POTUS is the thing that is pushing me through Uni ASAP and getting the hell out of your country...

I saw Rubio is now saying he will support Trump and even release his delegates at the Convention. Both Kasich and Cruz are holding on to their delegates.

So Rubio has abandoned the Romney, Jeb, Bill Kristol, Never Trump crowd it seems.

Good for him, seems to be a competent big move for once, and I say this as a Rubio-dislking Floridian. We need party unity.

Donald steps to the mic to accept the nomination, when suddenly loud music plays....

....and the Republican's independent candidate appears.

the Republicans wont offer a third party candidate because they know that the stakes are high with a potential Supreme Court justice pick. i have a feeling the Republican attack ads are going to be incredible.

pip pip cheerio you slags!
you mean overthrowing the united states government? as in treason again the u.s.a.?
Which is exactly why I don't wanna start it lol. If gaf wants to collectively buy some groceries and go and egg the various Capitol buildings until they all step down, I'd join in after like an hour.

If I pulled that off, would you die?
The Democratic experiment has failed.
We should be reincorporated back into a British Colony.

George III is laughing in his grave.

Lol what does this even mean?

Trump is an asshole, a bigot, a bully, a racist, and an all around nasty guy. He represents a very ugly side of America

However he's also a colossal moron. The presidency is not a dictatorship, If it was Trump would be incredibly dangerous, but you actually have to work together with other people if you want to accomplish anything on your agenda.

Everybody hates Trump. The Democrats hate him, and the GOP cant stand him either. No one would work with him, it would just be four years of gridlock that would make the last 6 years look productive in comparison. Trump would be the national equivalent of Jesse Ventura in Minnesota: a complete loser who didn't accomplish anything of significance in four years, before ultimately declining to run for a second term facing huge disapproval ratings.

Hillary on the other hand is an extremely capable and intelligent politician, but that makes her much more dangerous.

She would easily be able to put together a coalition of moderate and conservative Democrats along with the business wing of the Republican party to enact legislation that would further curtail labor, consumer, & privacy rights, slash entitlements, rollback important regulations, and continue to exacerbate income inequality.*

Not to mention her hawkish foreign policy would be so disastrous it would make Dubya shed a tear.
