These type posts are so effin dumb. Every business he has crumbles? Seriously? Lol I keep seeing this, and it's a total shit response. Your basically saying fuck him I hate you and wish to see your 35000 employees join the unemployment line.

The ironic thing about this whole situation is that these people are mad that Trump said mean things, and that all of his supporters are hate-filled puppets and the sort. Yet they spew such hatred that it exposes them as one of the things they're supposedly angry about.

Anyways, I guess I got to vote. Maybe for myself. You all should vote for me. Together we will stand and "Get shit done." That's my campaign name, catchy I think.

Do you think 45% of America is going to go away after Tuesday night? No, we need build ways to help bridge and fix why this country has become so divided. Throwing up your hands and saying fuck these people is the wrong way to do that.

Hey you know what, let's see how next week plays out. I'm sure that 45% is going to accept their loss gracefully, give their respect to the legitimately elected president of the USA, and give up an obstructionist agenda in favor of working together and getting stuff done. When that happens, we'll all be on board.

But if all they want to do is cry about rigged elections and double down on prejudice, well, they made their bed, they can fucking lie in it and see where it gets them.

Yeah, being called a rapist and a criminal because of my background by the GOP nominee is the equivalent of "mean things".

Accusing people of being rapists and terrorists is a bit more than "being mean".

Oh fucking please. Care for some more false equivalency? Or will you just say "lol so much for TOLERANT liberals!!!" Watering down the shit Trump says to "mean things" is just normalizing and excusing fascist bullshit.

I think Kasich has a good shot if he doesn't get primaried.

Rubio voted for Trump so you can say good bye to at least the Hispanic vote.
The GOP voting base really blew it

Just imagine the conversation we would be having if Kasich and Rubio were on the ticket instead of Trump

They would be up by 10 points at least

I wouldn't say it's ironic. But it is funny.

I cannot be the only person troubled by the fact Putin showed up at a Trump rally in Florida yesterday. I may be wrong but I cannot recall a time in my life (38) where a presidential nominee Republican or Democrat had a foriegn diplomat or leader come to this country to attend a rally and endorse him. But this is a major red flag that is being underreported by the media.

That's the humor section of the New Yorker

I think 10 is a bit generous. It would be a lot closer than it is now, and states like Georgia or Arizona wouldn't have teased going blue a few months ago.

Yeah, please try and show me how my post is in any way equivalent to the hatred of some groups of people Trump or some of his supporters have. Like me hating Trump for being a racist, sexual assaulter is totally the same as someone like David Duke. You sure showed me. I'm the same as the people I'm angry at!

It is pretty funny indeed that it exposed so many (not just here, but everywhere) that they so easily went the path they claimed they stood against. I mean it's crazy how violent some of these "counter campaign protesters" went. It puts things in a different light, clearly that BOTH major parties members have real issues with the rubbish figureheads they've both been churning out for years.

Whoever wins will be a 1 term president imo

I said it before, but there's incredibly good odds any of them make it one full term lol. It's crazy.

Ignore it? I just feel like you're playing into exactly what him and his supporters want by spitting hate and anger towards them. Prove to him that America is better than what he represents. We as a country were built on working with others and understanding all backgrounds of life. Do you think 45% of America is going to go away after Tuesday night? No, we need build ways to help bridge and fix why this country has become so divided. Throwing up your hands and saying fuck these people is the wrong way to do that.

While I certainly think solely talking about Trump's supporters like its a competition sport of who can deride them the harshest with the simplest summary characterizations is ultimately an empty self-serving exercise that turns discussions into echo chambers. Taking the opposite approach to just ignore aspects of it is not any more helpful( I know you aren't fully saying this but part of your response seems to argue to look past some things).

Its two sides of the same coin IMO. Which is to say ignoring what needs to be a learning moment for America in its present time. And not just some things but ALL aspects need to be explored.

There is already a competition of ideas(many in agreement) underway as to what exactly that is or should be(and not just here but also abroad, as America is not alone in flirting with authoritarianism right now), but not accurately diagnosing both the symptoms that led to the disease and the mechanisms that allowed it to get to this point - avoiding that analysis and conversation altogether - risks seeing it fester further or in new ways, or just spiral out into new harmful forms. Getting the diagnosis right is not something to just brush aside.

If one truly finds Trump and his ilk to be threats to the structures of our democratic-republic(and there is a reasonable case to be made that Trump would be) or even if one just finds his movement an impediment to your ideals, we owe it to ourselves to not only be honest about the context around Trump(most of his followers do, by most data, have varying levels of harmful prejudice as most would define it), but to take steps toward unpacking and understanding his movement and those in it. In order to achieve the larger goal of finding the right mechanisms in which to defeat or marginalize this cancer to the point that the harm it can inflict can be diminished significantly enough to put it into remission.

Stop being intolerant of intolerance!

I mean, they're just mean things. We minorities need to toughen up and stop being so PC. Just because the GOP nominee calls you and your people criminals doesn't mean it's racist or anything to be riled up about.

Why can't you minorities understand that?

Did you know Hillary is a flip flopper?

Trump didn't write that. He probably couldn't even read it well, even if placed in front of him in 16 point font in a well lit room.

I would never vote for you, monster.

Trump supporters generally don't answer questions like that directly. Expect deflection or complete avoidance.

False equivalencies are fun! People hate Trump and his supporters because of the things they say and believe. Trump and his supporters hate people because of what they are; gay, non-white, foreign, etc.

This bullshit about voting for Trump because Hilary is worse is just self-delusion because you don't want to admit you share the same despicable beliefs as Trump and his cronies.

Kasich/Rubio 2020 !

Believe!
Rubio is a tool who fucked up Congress. Kasich seems alright (for a Republican) but is apparently anti-LGBT/women so he can fuck off too.

It's fucking amazing that people see intolerance of intolerance as hatred.

You're banned but just in case you're still reading:

I don't think me telling someone to fuck off who plans to make it legal to discriminate me is unfounded hatred. It's a reaction, not an unprovoked action.

Edit: furthermore we call Trump mean things because of the things he's said and done, not because of circumstances outside of his control (race, gender, sexuality, country of birth etc. Etc.)

The real deplorables are Hillary and her supporters for gravely insulting all the Americans who just happen to be ignorant bigots!

Also, gay pride is heterophobic and women invented the idea of the wage gap to make men spend more money on them!

Kasich is a perennial loser in the Primaries, there's no way he will ever lead a ticket.

I could see him being someone's VP pick, but he doesn't have the chops to make it through to the big cheese.

Murphy has an outside shot of beating Rubio in Florida, plus his tepid attachment to Trump will hurt him with the more sane GOP voters and hurt him just as bad with the deplorables.

I honestly have no idea who the GOP is going to thrust upon us in 2020, but they better take the process more seriously after this go round.
