Lots of people seem to hate this game, but maybe it is because I havent play an FPS in forever, but I like DOom 3.

It feels like Resident Evil FPS, and that robot thing is really cool.

Yeah, I really liked it. The atmosphere and lighting effects never got old to me.

there's a lot of fun oh shit factor to it, it just felt like some weird space marine mis-adventure.

I'm enjoying it a lot. At first I just got it so I could play co-op Doom 1 and 2, but I got sucked into Doom 3 pretty quickly. I bought headphones just to play this game at night without waking everyone up. I plan to have some serious time with it this weekend, so I'll be contributing more to this thread, I'm sure.
