Ok, I have an older pc, AthlonXP 1.7 Ghz, almost a gig of ram, and the kicker a Geforce2 GTS Pro 64. What video card should I buy to run Doom 3? Or can I get buy with that old card at low gfx lvls?

It won't run with the card you have. You need at least a GF3.

this isnt an emergency. Get a 9600xt or pro... since your system wont justify anything better

Ok, thanks. SO what card will be good for that system, but not overkill, since it is old. Also I will probably be building a new one later in the year, so this is really for Doom 3 only and perhaps HL2 if it hits soon.
