(Spoilers ahead for Doom)

*****NOTE: I am not pitting master chief against the Slayer with the Suit because it my mind it's not even close. Slayer with his suit is almost indestructible and see no real way Chief could win that fight. Before the Slayer was enhanced and was the doom guy that is another story. Remember the DOOM Guy was given near god like powers by that machine and his suit couldn't even be damaged with the top 22nd century technology.

For people who do not know, the Doom Guy was the original "Guy" who was just a bad ass marine who Single-handedly fought 100's maybe even thousands of Demons by himself. This guy went to the bounds of hell, defeated arch demons, and came back multiple times. He did end up developing severe PTSD and other mental disorders from his ordeals but in battle he was unmatched. He had lead countless expeditions to hell and back and often times one of if not the only ones who come back alive, time and time again. With his Family and pet's death, the countless killing, the endless rage, he only knows Rip and Tear! He doesn't care about politics, he doesn't care about anything more than killing Demons. A psychopath. Luckily he does have some kind of morale code still because he does still side with humanity in certain ways.

Chief is also a bad ass monster: A genetically modified Super Soldier who survived implants and enhancements that kill most men/women. There is no doubt the Chief is a much better tactician and probably much smarter than Doom Guy. Chief does have the latest 26th technology along with advanced weaponry. The Chief is battle harden with dozens of battles against the Covenant and the Flood. Chief also has been the lone survivor of many missons that seem impossible to survive.

My Pick is still going to be Doom Guy by a nose. I just think his pure rage and determination overcomes all of the other Chief Advantages. Who you got?

Doom guy turns demons into a bloody pulp with his fists. He takes on the armies of Hell with a chainsaw and smiles like a fucking psychopath.

Doom guy wins and it's not even close.
That's Doom Slayer, Doom Guy would have trouble meleeing more than one hell knight.

Master Chief likely wins the majority of the time due to his advanced armor, shields, and tactical genius. His armor is a huge factor it's strong but also has energy shields that can recharge, giving Chief an edge in terms of durability and staying power.

Doomguy, while a beast in his own right, doesn’t have that same kind of armor protection. He’s tough and resilient, but he’s still human at the end of the day. if Doomguy is fighting with the bfg 9000 though, that could swing things in his favor, but idk if it only works on demons or
Humans as well

Doom Slayer > Master Chief > Doom guy
When did doom guy turn into doom slayer? After doom 2?
Between the events of Doom 64 and Doom ‘16. Eternal bridged the gaps and Doom Guy was basically made into a god, before that though he was just a roided out standard soldier whereas Chief was surgically and chemically enhanced + mjolnir enhances his already superhuman feats multiple times over.

The reason why Slayer wins though, as mentioned, he’s a literal god that KILLED GOD and is too damn angry to die

I don't think people know much about the spartans but they are ridiculously strong, there's a reason why the covenant calls chief "Demon".
Doomguy would circle-strafe at 60mph while Master Chief couldn't even keep track of him because of his gamepad camera controls.
This is a good example, spartans run at 50-60mph as well, and their gun sights are linked to their visors so they see exactly what their gun is pointed at without even looking.
In the armour they weigh ~1000 pounds, so them running into you is literally a car crash.
Strength wise chief can lift at least 3x his body weight, but the augmentations also makes him twice as heavy as a normal person, so that sounds like 6x regular people strength without any armour; the old armour doubles what he can lift, the newest armour increases his strength by 5, so that makes him 30 times as strong as a regular soldier.
The armour is also very durable itself, surviving orbital re-entry without a parachute.
And of course lastly it has an energy shield.

The games underpower him for gameplay purposes, making them seem like slightly enhanced soldiers, but are absolute monsters, humanity created 33 of them to basically fight off the entire covenant as one of them was enough to kill thousands.

I got Doom VFR working on PC with psvr2 and smooth turning yesterday. It’s good stuff now. Ridiculous it has no turning options normally.

I think Halo would win. He’s a pretty cool guy and doesn’t afraid of anything.

Doomguy killed Cyberdemon.
Chief never killed anyone approaching that.
In a direct fight he beat the didact, a high prophet, Escharum, and the harbinger

Indirectly he helped kill the prophet of truth but was also responsible for killing the gravemind and stopping the flood

I would argue the flood are just as terrifying as doom’s army of hell

People saying Doom Guy either don't know anything about Master Chief, or they don't know anything about Doom Guy. We're talking pre-suit Doom Guy. Break this down into a "Pros and Cons" list, and it is obvious that Master Chief wins against Doom Guy more often than not.
  1. Strength and Physical Capabilities
    • Doom Guy
      • Canonically described as having peak human conditioning, capable of running at 57 mph without fatigue.
      • Can carry an entire arsenal of heavy weapons with ease.
      • Has insane pain tolerance and durability, tanking bullets, fire, and melee attacks from demons.
      • No known cybernetic enhancements - Doom Guy is pure human.
    • Master Chief
      • Enhanced muscle density allows him to lift several tons (he flipped a Scorpion tank in the book Halo: First Strike).
      • Can run at over 60 mph in his Mjolnir armor.
        • In the book Halo: Fall of Reach, Master Chief ran a half-kilometer in 17 seconds flat. That equates to roughly 67 mph.
        • This was on Reach, and Reach has 1.08 times the gravity of Earth. This means that with Earth's gravity, Master Chief would be even faster.
        • Master Chief also tore his Achilles Heel during the run (he had just been hit with an anti-tank missile prior to this).
      • Superhuman reflexes - Master Chief is capable of dodging bullets and outpacing Elites in combat.
      • Can survive extreme falls and impacts due to both his body’s durability and his Mjolnir armor.
        • He fell ~5 kilometers at the beginning of Halo 3.
  2. Combat Skills & Experience
    • Doom Guy
      • An exceptionally skilled marine, but mainly focused on raw aggression, speed, and brutality.
      • Known for mowing down enemies with sheer force, often in the hundreds.
      • Tactical, but fights more like an unstoppable berserker than a calculated soldier.
      • Excels in close-quarters combat, using fists, chainsaws, and shotguns.
    • Master Chief
      • Trained from the age of six in squad tactics, strategy, and advanced hand-to-hand combat.
      • A master marksman, adept in all human and Covenant weaponry.
      • Has fought highly advanced Covenant forces, including Elites who are stronger and faster than humans.
      • Skilled in coordinated combat rather than just raw aggression.
  3. Armor & Durability
    • Doom Guy
      • Wears Green Marine Armor (before acquiring the Praetor suit).
      • Limited protection compared to modern power armor - his armor mainly protects from small arms fire.
      • Uses health pickups and med-kits to heal.
    • Master Chief
      • Wears Mjolnir Powered Assault Armor, which provides:
        • Energy Shields that can absorb high-caliber rounds and plasma blasts.
        • Strength enhancement and motion tracking.
        • Life-support systems and an onboard AI (if Cortana is present).
      • Can survive drops from orbit, making him extremely tough.
  4. Intelligence & Tactical Thinking
    • Doom Guy
      • More of a berserker warrior than a tactical thinker.
      • Excellent at reaction-based combat, improvising with the weapons available.
      • Less experience in strategic warfare.
    • Master Chief
      • A brilliant tactician, trained for decades in strategic combat.
      • Can assess battlefield situations and adapt to stealth, ranged combat, and direct assaults.
      • Uses squad-based tactics, but is also one of the deadliest solo fighters.
It's not that Doom Guy couldn't beat Master Chief ever, but Master Chief has so many advantages against Doom Guy in areas that actually matter in a fight.

Fucking doom guy!

Chiefs a bad ass but doom guy is something else entirely.
No, doom slayer is something else, doom guy is just a roided out soldier wearing basic security armor. Its not translated well in-game but chief is a godamn tank on the field.

Doom slayer however is a literal god who i believe could theoretically massacre nearly every sci-fi army ever.

Like, I’m not the only one who think Doom Slayer would actually do insanely well in the 30k warhammer series, right?

Is doom slayer not doom guy in the armour?

Agree though. Master chief is a fucking beast but doom guy is from doom 1 and 2 right? I think he would probs lose to chief coming to think of it but he's a fucking beast too.

Doom slayer is doom guy after he was infused with literal god magic

Edit: beaten by Ryuu, well this is the layman’s terms version lol

Master Chief, supposedly a super soldier or something, goes into battle with full armor.

Doomguy goes into battle showing off his guns and working a slammin' midriff...

I think we all know who wins this battle.

Yeah, I dunno i think this would be a crazy fight. I know chief is a spartan....but doom guy is obviously fucking crazy. I bet he kills so many more demons than chief does covenant?
Chief’s fought his way through the covenenat, prometheans, flood and the banished. Theyre both hyper-lethal soldiers that have killed thousands on a personal level

I asked GPT who would win in a fight between Doom Guy (pre-2016) and Master Chief.

The outcome of a fight between Doom Guy (pre-2016) and Master Chief is a popular topic of debate among fans of both franchises.
Doom Guy (pre-2016): Known for his incredible strength, speed, and agility, Doom Guy is a relentless force against demons. He wields a variety of powerful weapons, including shotguns, chainsaws, and the iconic BFG. His combat style is aggressive and fast-paced, often relying on brutal melee attacks and quick movement to overwhelm enemies.
Master Chief: As a super-soldier equipped with advanced armor (MJOLNIR), Master Chief possesses enhanced strength, speed, and reflexes. He is highly trained in various forms of combat and has access to a wide range of futuristic weapons and technology, including energy shields, grenades, and vehicles. His tactical mind and experience in warfare give him an edge in strategy.
Factors to Consider:
  1. Environment: The setting of the fight could greatly influence the outcome. Doom Guy thrives in chaotic, close-quarters combat, while Master Chief may excel in more strategic, open environments.
  2. Weapons and Gear: Both characters have access to powerful weapons, but Doom Guy's arsenal is often more destructive, while Master Chief's technology provides versatility and protection.
  3. Combat Style: Doom Guy's aggressive, fast-paced style contrasts with Master Chief's more tactical approach, which could lead to different outcomes based on how the fight unfolds.
Ultimately, the winner could depend on the circumstances of the battle, including the environment, available weapons, and the strategies employed by each character. Fans of both characters have strong arguments for their favorites, making it a subjective topic.

But the opinion of an AI doesn't mean shit, because it's obviously Doom Guy. GPT is just being nice.
