They really need to add a forfeit option... it's no fun playing when your team is down by 20+ kills and one of their heroes is fed beyond belief. I'd also like the ability to disable all chat, because enemy teams tend to talk a lot of shit. I'm mainly just saying this because of the shit game I just played where the other team's Riki was super fed and proceeded to gloat until the game ended. Really annoying and not fun.

It used to stop ping too (Which was mainly to allow you to stop ping spam), but ether Valve broke it, disabled it, or I haven't notice.

Elaborate!
Slow reaction time, bad decisions made sometimes. I had 1 really good game, then 1 mediocre game. Watching someone that's really good play a hero that you play sometimes and seeing how much more effective they are is bittersweet, on one side you realize how shit you are, and on the other you see how to get better.

Feels bad to be the reciever and not the provider of the rage, especially after making a stupid mistake like not using Shallow Grave on someone

. I guess I know how Freakinchair / Kapura feel now.

Sounds harsh, but it's a learning experience. I know the very few times I was in the Gaf inhouse game I would comment on people making bad decisions, then when it was my time to play I got steam rolled. Feels bad.

Well it's a lot harder for me to accept a mistake like that, I've been playing this game for 7 years, especially something like not using grave on someone, or going the wrong skill build. Oh well I didn't do that badly though.

From now on I'm building THD with Veil, Agha, and sheep, the damage output is so ridiculous

Yeah. Some things that are obvious to you are not obvious to those who aren't as good at the hero/skill level bracket/metagame strat than you are.

Just played with the most frustrating Moprhling in the history of Dota 2. First time I wanted to spout so much shit to someone. I wanted to tell him to uninstall, to smash his face on a concrete wall, to just never touch a Moba game, to just never play video games in general.

Then I realized I hate people like that and just stopped giving a damn even though I wanted to punch my monitor so I could have an excuse to quit the game.

Absolutely, I've been really focusing on my warding a lot these days, and understanding all the ward spots and which is gives extra vision in different places and so on. Some of my friends are still just like warding = wards on the 2 runes, and they think that's fine. Same with counterwarding, you hit a skill bracket where it just becomes the done thing.

You just gotta play, learn if your playing with people better than you. Try and help teach if they're lower than you.
And then everyone gets a long fine and we dont get pages of hon-dota-drama, happily ever after.

Swag on the threshold between pub and pro.

Go get'em Swag, we're all* rooting for you.

*Except Neki.

Lich had the highest win rate of 59%, Ursa is #2 with 57.8%, Anti Mage is at 50.8%, Alchemist the lowest at 39.7%, Most picked hero is Pudge, being in 34% of all games and picked 1.2 Million times. Also, as of March 31st, there was 480k players unique player who have played at least 1 match, and 3.6 Million Match Making games were played.

Also, it is interesting to note that works out to each player in the Beta having an average of 75 games played,

This is interesting. I wonder if it these results will weigh in on future balancing. Valve's data gathering must be a god send for Icefrog since now he can compare whether all the whining on the forums is actually justified or not.

The person who posted those numbers never provided any evidence, and we've heard nothing about his site.

Probably Lancer. The next heroes likely to come out are Brewmaster, PL, Ogre Magi and Treant. Of course there are Gyro/TA/PA who have been in limbo for like 6 months (presumably because Valve shifted development to the competitive heroes).

The big reason I don't think Brewmaster will be in this patch is there is nothing for his Primal Spirit Split in the files.

Humble swag incoming?

Na, what the hell am I talking about.

Front page game, someone gets sylla and writes ME MID and proceeds to buy slippers as starting item and then dies twice to sf and rage quits.

And for some reason I get the same guy in the next game, what the fuck. Even though he abandonded.

So I had the pleasure of playing in some super high skill games tonight, the gap in skill was annoyingly noticeable.

I've found that past midnight you get a ton of variation in player skill when you queue.

Last night I had a lich who had 11 wins on my team. Rest of them were 250-400.

edit: Looks like they queued as a group, which explains the person with 11 wins.

My prediction is no hero patch. Enjoy.

And the guy abandonded once again, this time after 30 mins. "Cause he had to go play in a tourney".
That's a game with 400 specs for you.

Tryouts with real bullets. Probably nothing concrete as of yet, bar Sayuri (who was going to captain the team, if memory serves).
Hmm guess so. As long as they proceed each round I guess they could mix and match potential recruits and see who plays well as a team.
