#1 How to armlet toggle micro between bears

Just spent $10.00 on keys looking to get the new Juggernaut taunt. I ended up getting Furion's taunt, Broodmother's taunt, and two of Axe's taunt. I just fucking want my Juggernaut taunt. That's all I want. Is anyone willing to trade? The other items in my inventory (other than my Juggernaut items and my Dragon Knight helm) are also up for trade: http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198088983569/.

Honestly just buy 1 key on dota2traders.com for $2.
Trade for exactly the items you want on dota2lounge.com.
The chance of you getting what you want is about 1 in 12 = 9%

I put Mouz first at the last minute but couldn't switch it. More who I want to win than who I think will win (EG). Don't think it counts for the prediction points though.

I can't see EG getting crushed and not making the top 2, but the other team is such a toss up, I really don't think anyone but EG could do well in the overall tournament.

I'm still not seeing my 1st and 2nd pick. It just says #int2013_your_pick under both.

Hopefully this is just a temporary bug...
It is a temporary bug, it is trying to display the winners, which it can't since the games haven't happened yet. Your choices should be saved, and I am sure Valve will fix the issue with a patch tomorrow.

Shot in the dark, or are you calling your shot?
I have them in second.

I really like how they play. ViCi is good too, but I like Rising Stars to beat them and LGD to win. My dark horse second place finisher is Mith. They have significantly more experience than either and have been steady, and when money is on the line and the drafting experimentation times are over, that experience tends to translate into wins.

This game... I love it but...

Out of the last 10 games I've only won one of them... I was almost 20 above my losses... now I'm two away from being even. I don't mind losing, the worst part about these losses almost all of them are lopsided matches... even if I lose, if it's a fun close game with a lot of back and forth, i love it.

But I keep hitting find match because I know the potential for fun even games. But I'm starting to get a tad demoralized.

Whelp...did my part...bought a compedium despite not being able to play this game until next weekend..Here's to hitting all the stretch goals..

Solo queue is trench queue. You cannot carry it. I have yet to have a single good game there.

I've done Solo queue now a few times and it sucks for an unanticipated reason: you're even LESS likely to find people communicating effectively. At least people that party have mics. Solo queue is nobody talking at all. I'd rather face stacks any day of the week but have people to talk to than silence for 40 minutes.

And in solo queue your team fucks it up for you. They pick stupid shit or just fuck it up, It's fucking uncarryable.

I get both in both matchmaking modes, what then?

I randomed Dragon Knight in AP, then the last two guys to pick pick Huskar and Sven, after we have Pudge and Shadow Demon...there is absolutely no justification for that. I went safe lane, I was the only one that had any items, and since I was farming early to mid game, Pudge and SD were our only early game heroes. I farmed my shit, but the other team got fed. Huskar said at the beginning "I hate winning", I think he was dead serious.

They did barely communicate though.

Is there going to be another thread for the qualifiers? I don't think there should be one, I just figured I'd ask because it seems like the sort of thing someone would make.

I'll make one. I want to see how much work it takes to update the OP for the actual TI3.
Edit: Made one, but yeah it is not really anything more than joindota/compendium info.
Not really sure if that is helpful for anyone. Someone else can make TI3 OT if they want.

This for sure.

Also Slardar sucks or I just don't know how to play him.

Seriously, where is his place on the team? He's not late game, he's not really early game other than his stun, which he has to be up close and personal for. He needs attack speed to supplement bashes, where the fuck does he go?

He's a great chaser, since his Q will let him catch up to basically anyone without a blink and land his stun. And his ult is incredibly powerful if you can get your team to focus on someone. You're right, he doesn't do a lot on his own, but he can be a very powerful cog.

We need to play some Traitor Mode Dota, looks so much fun to fight against your own team.

Each team will send a traitor into the enemy team, thus playing against him. The traitor is allowed to stay in communication with his team, but feeding (dying more than 3 times) will result in him having to stay at the base.
The draft in this mode will be Random Draft and each traitor will be granted first pick. The team that gets second pick though, will have to give the traitor a 10 second advantage before picking. Disable Help is banned.

One traitor killing the other does account for the three deaths needed to be stationed in the base.

Do you still want the taunt? I'm willing to trade. Steam ID's same as my GAF account.

With my win rate plummeting rapidly towards 50%, I decided to go for some drunk dota. Turns out its captains mode, and I'm the captain. Why am I always the captain?

So the team is pretty quiet during the whole pick ban part of the game, so I ban kotl cause I hate him, and nyx, 'cause nyx. Then I pick magnus 'cause he's available, and od purely cause I figured mag might be able to set up some big ults. After that I have no clue and so doter picks doom for us, and then again I'm slow to make a decision, and doter reads my mind and picks disruptor for us. Team is grumpy about picks. Oh yeah, and somewhere in there, I pick rubick.

Turns out, it was the biggest stomp I've personally been a part of. I was rubick.

Am I doing something wrong, or does Spectre take an extremely long time to come "online" as a carry? I just played her, and we won, but I spend the first half of the game just farming and farming and farming, occasionally jumping into fights with my ult. I even had a Midas, and this was how I ended up after 45 minutes.

I out GPM'd the shit out of everyone, went Midas, Treads, Diffusal, Manta, Heart, and stated Crit but only got Crystalys by the time the game ended. I know people used to advocate Radiance on Spectre, but after that whole thing about hearing that Radiance is not a very good item, I didn't get one.

Depends on your ability to last hit with ~50 damage right click

I play with the sound off for the first few minutes because I don't like how his attack animation has no sound. I need to acclimate to it anyway.

Try Milk's radiance refresher build. It's fun.

I was last hitting just fine, but still it felt like it took a while. I had Midas around 7 minutes, and was farming well from there.

Radiance Refresher build? Does it really make two sets of Haunt illusions if you ult twice or what?

damage-amp initiator/ganker. He is good paired up with the right heroes and not played as a carry. Blink + bkb is I all you need and should expect to get with him.

He is one of the hardest carries in the game, so yes it takes a considerable amount of time to get him farmed enough.
The challenge with playing spectre is that he is completely useless for the first 15 minutes or so, he has no farming skills and offers nothing in lane. He is only really good if you can guarantee him free farm.
Don't go for the radiance, get drums + yasha and a diffusal. Then heart manta. It will give you good mobility and damage early on but spectre really carries by having a large hp-pool so later on you should focus on boosting that. Finally, upgrade diffusal(don't forget this) and get a butterfly.

Does anyone know if they will only be streaming the qualifiers on twitch tv? As I can't watch twitch currently where I am, but I can't remember what the deal was last year but I vaguely remember something been cast directly on youtube or was that just the main event?
