It might have worked if FD went in during the Roshan attempt instead of just letting it go for free. Already game over if you're afraid to engage LGD when there's no other choice.

Honestly I think LGD was too spaced anyway, it would've required some miracle for Mag to have rp'ed the beastmaster as well as the am. That said I do agree that it was their best chance.

Can someone who speaks Russian please translate this items tag for me?

I'm on the West Coast so I just woke up (8am). Shoot, can't believe I missed two games already. Hopefully it's still possibly to fully level up my QOP armor.

I saw that Wisp play. That was fucking nuts. I still wonder how Wisp had that much cash laying around to just casually buy a Blink like that.

This and that game against the tryhard stack last night made me wonder: How exactly do you deal with a Wisp with something deadly like a Chaos Knight, Tiny, Sven, or whatever? I would think the answer is "Watch the clock to know when Relocate is off cooldown and don't get caught out.", but that's just the problem. They're not going to use Relocate unless they can see you and you still won't know when the Relocate is coming and you'd never leave the tower. I would guess it would mostly be used to pick off supports, but they have to go ward and stuff. They can ask for someone to go with them, but early game this can be an issue as it would mean that someone else would also have to leave lane to do it every single time, and this could be the carry who needs to focus on farming. Should you just focus on trying to counter the hero that Wisp is going to bring? Be able to nuke the shit out of Wisp so he can't bring his buddy back?

How do you guys recommend building Ancient Apparition? For support purposes.

If you're playing support, there'll be very few item builds to follow. Courier, flying as soon as possible, wards and counter-wards, get a mek, go pipe if needed, if you have too much gold (and god knows why you'll have that much gold on AA), get the Vyse, Euls, force staff... He benefits a lot from Athos, as he can land his skills better. But all supports are almost the same.

Do this a lot.

Seriously though, build him as a support. Possibly an Urn if things are going well, but it's not a necessity and if someone else on your team wants to get urn, let them get it. Go Mek, and then stuff like Euls or Scythe if you ever get the farm for it.

I don't get why people go Treads on him, I prefer Arcane Boots.

Hey guys, I'm going to put on my flamesuit, but last night in a pub I went against my first Riki.

He was able to get super fed during lane by the rest of my team. I did well early as Templar Assassin at bottom, but by the time Riki started showing up anywhere on the map, he was basically one shotting.

We started with wards and dust, but he was too fed to be killed.

What am I to do in this situation? I am not good enough in the beginning to stop someone from getting fed in another lane, so does that mean I'm just screwed?

Also: Is there not a team 'gg' vote? If I remember correctly, LoL has one and it's very helpful for games where you're just getting skunked.

Mouz played well there vs. Fnatic. They've been much improved lately.

Riki is known for being like this - it's very easy for him to take over games and snowball out of control because new players don't have the knowledge and experience for how to shut him down before he threatens. It's also entirely possible that he just shit on his lane opponents and if that's the case, there's really nothing you can do, even if you were farming really well until then.

Basically, though, if you're in a different lane and playing a carry (which TA is), your job is to just get as many creep kills as possible.

Some people who are new don't understand how vital it is to get as many creep kills as possible. My friend thinks I'm joking when I say you should be disappointed with anything less than 90% of every creep wave when you're in the safe lane as a hero like Naix, PL or AM. TA would qualify too, even though she's not really traditionally a side lane hero (early levels from solo exp in mid give her a huge leg up).

You should just pick heroes like Bloodseeker, Riki, Spiritbreaker, the ones that poop on lower level players. Stick with those guys until you feel like you've moved up to a better tier of player, then you can worry about strategizing when your teammates aren't useless spunkbubbles.

Sadly, you can't stop your teammates from feeding until you climb up to a higher level. Just forget it and move on. Or pick Riki next time.

Nope.

Nope.

Ok, well, at least that is good to know. Probably not going to pick Riki though. =)

Dang at not being able to end the match through voting.

Also: If you abandon a match that is "safe to leave" do you still have a chance for drops? I've been sticking it out until the end for some masochistic reason.

When you have a full set of cards, you can craft them into a badge for your steam profile and it will give you items aswell during this process. Items like steam profile backgrounds, steam chat emoticons and game coupons.

Hats are in-game cosmetic items that you can "wear" on your chosen hero during a match.

Again, I'm still not clear on the reason for or purpose of these cards. I wasn't being facetious; I just don't fucking know. If you can clarify instead of being an ass, please do.
It's the same as hats. epeen and money. You can craft them to make a badge on your profile.
