Shit, I didn't even know. Reading through the threads, it seems like it was a massive trainwreck. Plus, dat Francis video.

Hahahahaha.
1 more game for the upset.
Well now. iG showing chinks in the armor. Still very strong play from them though to stay in that long after significant disadvantages early.
Think of the rares!
In other news - Visage and Kunkka surprisingly popular with the East Qualifiers.
been playing bloodstone/deso lina quite a bit. fun times.
Damn, iG hasn't lost a BO3 since November 2012. How many BO3 games have they been involved in since?
It's not over yet though.

We need those side shot gifcams for the inhouse replays
Just bought the Empowered Elements HUD and Pflax Announcer.
I felt like I should give Gaben some ... :<
Both items are awesome.
those who bet on Tong Fu are 19 rares richer now. lol
I had one game against bots before jumping online, just do it.I'm 70 wins, 60 losses with zero moba experience. You'll be fine, most people are very bad at the game and you will learn so much more so much quicker.
Don't stall too much on that. Get together with some GAF members and let them carry you through a match.
Unless of course your first match ever is with Forkball and SteveWinwood. Thanks a lot guys.
Also, lol @ my third match ever. I remember thinking Shadow Demon was the most amazing int carry ever. I got like 8 kills right off the bat with Disruption alone. And look at those items on everyone.
You should play vs humans.
A) A lot of humans are worse than Easy bots, so don't worry.
B) Humans play differently, bots are the same every game.
Bots are useful to learn 'how to play' Dota (i.e., learn about the basic fundamentals and mechanics) without pissing people off in MM. They continue to be useful for playing with new heroes that you haven't used yet in order to test their style and builds.
However, once you understand the very basics of the game, you will inevitably start learning bad habits because bots don't change their behavior and you can get a sense of complacency with style. You're never going to run into 90% of opponent behaviors in a bot game, and those behaviors are Dota.
I enjoy bot games still (I'm level 3), but I am finding that playing against people is both more helpful from a meta-learning perspective, and much more rewarding when I actually win.
DOTA 2 Lounge is scum. While trading with that bot an error occured and all my items are gone and no bet is placed.
Open a ticket. I got that too and i missed a won bet because of it but i still got my items back.
Yeah, but there's nothing in my trade history on Steam.
They give you a trade number before the trade happens in case stuff like that happens. Your fault for not keeping track of that.
Interesting. Where do you see this number?
Before the trade happens, on the bottom right a small window pops up.
These items don't appear in my trade history. So I can't place a ticket!
On the other side, when I go to my profile on DOTA2 Lounge these items appear in the new section. But I don't have them in my inventory.

Is this ingame? looks like some sort of cgi cutscene. Dota 2 looks bloody amazing in 3D. Makes me want to see Dota 2 in FPS.
How do you get that 3D perspective? The one in the gif.
The driftwood HUD is awesome.
Either Razer's Puck is just phenomenal or VG is just stupidly aggressive, to the point of wasting tons of time, cds, and missing everything. Or both.
All this Visage picks is making me interested in trying him. Any good guides out there?
