WorldAS = 3 [A] members?

Blah...guess we'll have to wait for TI3 for a real all-stars.

EDIT : Ah, I see it's a "G1" allstars...that explains it.

I find the Low Violence Pudge Hilarious:

Also, love AA's LV face:

Fair price for dilly-dallying (on a show match, no less), imo. Euro/NA scene looks the other way on a lot of things that it shouldn't.

Agree mostly but it seems strange at a tournament where all players are visible on stage and all. I assume everyone could see no one was there for the other team and just waited while they got an entire draft of randoms. Rather burn 10 minutes waiting for them so we can have a good game rather than an entire hour of wasted time with the result predetermined.

And you know they were 'dilly-dallying' how exactly?
I don't, but it seems eminently more probable than accepting whatever rumor the stream chat has begun circulating and latching on to (have you forgotten they do this for kicks?). When it comes down to what I've seen, I've yet to see tournament organizers lock a team out of their booth or otherwise obstruct them. I've seen teams fail to show up to their matches punctually so frequently that it no longer surprises me.

It's a problem but I don't think starting the game without them is the solution. Valve has it right, give time penalties during draft.

This tournament has been an amateur joke so far, currently wondering if it'll even be worth sitting around and watching the rest.

Dunno, time penalties are virtually toothless, given how many set lineups you can pull from a hat at short notice. Starting the draft on time enforces punctuality, barring a team being absent for reasons beyond their control.

I think it would be wise to sleep and just catch up on matches tomorrow. There's seemingly no translation for all the pageantry going on between games, so one of the big pluses of watching this live is kinda out the window.

Looks like Valve is testing out a LoL like Tribunal system called "Overwatch" for CS:Go:

If all goes well, I wonder how long Valve will take to implement the system into Dota 2.

This was discussed a bit a few pages back. Its a really slick system in CS:GO and its definitely impressive. However I think its primarily designed to combat the massive cs go hacking problem so I'm not sure if they would port it to dota

edit: gyro AND naix AND DK.. wow...
