I logged back into LoL this morning after not playing or logging in since October/November.

I knew it was going to be slower but you're not prepared for just how slow it really is, I think even dawngate is faster though I might be wrong. I really appreciate the fact that Dota 2 has really fluid turn speed mechanics and ability to dodge stuff.

I could only play one game, that slowness and lack of turn speed is excruciating.

I don't know how some of you cope playing both...

Betting rares on Rattle Snake and VG .

Easiest rares of my life .

Also what the heck is this ?

Did Fnatic become ass tier when I wasn't paying attention ?

First rule of economics: what people spend money on is not a reliable indicator of underlying material truths or moral imperatives. Fuck your favourite economist if he disagrees. He's a hack and dribble comes out of his stupid opinion hole.

So easy to play Brood in pubs where no one buys dust/sentries. Even if they start ganking your team non stop you just keep pushing and farming and before they notice it they have no towers left and you are a complete beast.

Dust? Sentries?

Wtf are you talking about?

So I randomed Troll and decided to go Vlads-Deso to just to see how fast I could melt a tower late game. Everyone made fun of the vlads pickup, but I don't really see why. Every troll seems to get Helm of the Dominator, but don't they give practically the same bonuses? Except Vlads gives you some mana to spam your W a bit more and a nice damage aura for the team. (We had a Drow so I thought she'd appreciate it but no).

Also I thought the main reason you get Helm was for using a creep for ancient stacking and roshing, but in my skill bracket no one who gets it actually bothers to do this so the point seems kind of moot.

Anyway re: how fast can you melt a tower, it's pretty damn fast. If they don't pay a attention to a lane that's pushing they can practically lose a racks in the time it takes to tp. I know Troll isn't the only hero in the game with good push, there's Lone Druid and Leshrac and so on but it still seemed broken to me. Unless you're able to keep all the lanes permanently pushed I don't see how you stop slowly losing your base.

baka you should have god hotd AND vlads.

Vlad's is great, but the thing is that it's a little more expensive than Helm of the Dominator, which can be significant for times when skipping a BKB is inadvisable. The purchase also means you're probably not going to have a HotD that you can build into a Satanic, which is one of the best items to have in the lategame. On top of that, Troll probably scales harder than any other hero in the game with Satanic.

I saw an HotD Skeleton King today. Is there any valid reason for that or is it really as dumb as it sounds?

Don't count on Fnatic winning anything until the bootcamp, they're almost never playing as a full team and are out of shape.

Seems dumb, the idea is that you want to take a metric ton of damage and then die, and then do it all over again. An SK would probably tank better in the first place by building damage, damage, and more damage (and they're going to focus you more often if you can actually kill stuff).

Lifesteal stacks and you can use the creep to stack neutral camps but i would imagine there are better things to buy as sk

Only if he wanted to go satanic and even then it doesn't sound very smart
That's pretty much what I thought. You could just ask your supports to stack ancients for you.

Who's ready for Abaddon and Legion Commander today? :)
With the 6.78, yup totally.

Am I the only one not able to trad with dota2lounge bots for the last hour ? "Sorry, I cannot trade with you right now, looks like there are trobles with Steam's or Lounge's servers." is what I get...

Means Steam is having issues. Happens all the time. Try again in 30 minutes

Not jesting at all. I love playing traditional right click carries as utility heroes (i.e. Alchemist, Doom, and Viper).

Really nice team fight at the end there. Blink to 2-man impale Nyx. 3+ man RP right after.

And Drow gonna Drow with timing pushes.

Surprised that worked out so well after losing the tri-lane so badly. Level 1 Nyx at 9 minutes.

I've actually been building MoM on troll lately and its goddamn hilarious.

I swear this is some kind of thing Valve does.

I was having a garbage game last night with some of the worst players I ever had the misfortune to play with. A Lycan who did absolutely nothing all game but farm the jungle. A Disruptor that didn't know how to support (I ended up supporting as Slardar) or play Disruptor but complained the entire game that everyone else was terrible (he also didn't know what role Slardar was, originally calling me a farm dependent hard carry and then a little later saying I was a support... which he was wrong on both accounts lol). Me and Kotl on the other team kept teasing him about what role Slardar is and man, he got fuming. He also said whoever Dendi was, he was probably a noob for using Midas on Invoker (which is why my brother tried it). Also got mad at Medusa for not farming enough, but then stole farm from Medusa... Medusa and my brother (Invoker) were alright though (the Medusa was too nice for this team). It might not have been the best match for Invoker to try a new build though.

And then when the game is over I get a Rare Rubick Councilor mask as a drop and I forget the whole match was terrible because I got a shiny new item for one of my favorite heroes.

It's a conspiracy I tell you. They do it to make bad games seem better!

I've been chat banned a few times (nothing racist or sexist) I understand what valve is trying to do. However, I feel there is a disconnect between punishing a reaction to poor play and not the poor play itself.

Last night I had a game where a team of three got tired of playing after 45 minutes. They started to feed so the game will end. I called them morons repeatedly. I have little to no doubt that they reported me. So while I may not be banned from chat when I log in tonight I have to imagine that with my history it certainly is not going to help. Also as others have mentioned if I am banned it will hurt my future teammates more than anyone else. They can spin the numbers as they like, but I'm not sure how affective they have been in solving any of the issues.

You can report for intentional feeding can't you?

Well you didn't need to call them morons repeatedly.. I mean I understand but you could've gone about it differently..
