Dammit ViCi. YOU WERE THE CHOSEN ONE!

Spectre new Morphling? (Not nearly as good as Morphling in his prime, but still - works kind of similarly.)
USA USA USA

Buff mah spec-spec.

So what was someone saying about this being " the easiest rares" of their life?

I think the biggest issue is to learn while in game makes everyone else's experience worse, and trying to coach up a player via chat during the game is close to impossible if you are already behind the eight ball due to inexperienced play. Once you realize that is necessary the feeding of the other team has produced a game/environment that is very difficult to teach or learn in. I suppose it might just be the nature of the beast, you morons;).

Chuan: We thought we were ahead

Chuan interview with gosugamers said:
Well I have this question but you can skip answering it if you choose to. I heard ACE has banned DK, iG and LGD from participating in smaller tournaments like AMD Premier League. LGD for example, withdrew from the tournament because ACE instructed them to. Is this true or not.
Well, this I'm not too sure because these are handled mostly by the club and the manager. Basically we will play whatever they arrange. So yeah, I don't really know about it.

Other than Alliance, which other teams will threaten you(at TI3)?
DK and LGD.
No western teams?
As I said, it's because we don't understand them. However, after we arrive there, in a LAN game situation, they shouldn't pose much of a threat.
Some people say that iG is hiding their strats for TI3. Is this true?
Nah none of that is true. It's because we haven't play for so long and we are not in form for tournaments.

So I randomed Troll and decided to go Vlads-Deso to just to see how fast I could melt a tower late game. Everyone made fun of the vlads pickup, but I don't really see why. Every troll seems to get Helm of the Dominator, but don't they give practically the same bonuses? Except Vlads gives you some mana to spam your W a bit more and a nice damage aura for the team. (We had a Drow so I thought she'd appreciate it but no).

Also I thought the main reason you get Helm was for using a creep for ancient stacking and roshing, but in my skill bracket no one who gets it actually bothers to do this so the point seems kind of moot.

Anyway re: how fast can you melt a tower, it's pretty damn fast. If they don't pay a attention to a lane that's pushing they can practically lose a racks in the time it takes to tp. I know Troll isn't the only hero in the game with good push, there's Lone Druid and Leshrac and so on but it still seemed broken to me. Unless you're able to keep all the lanes permanently pushed I don't see how you stop slowly losing your base.

Vlads + Deso is my preferred Troll build, especially since I like to get a Basilus in lane anyways. The tower wreckage is indeed beautiful.

I saw an HotD Skeleton King today. Is there any valid reason for that or is it really as dumb as it sounds?

Depends on the how many stuns the enemy has. The lifesteal stacks with his natural lifesteal as far as I know so it gives him some really nice lifesteal vs someone who can't actually keep him from attacking plus it gives good damage and sme extra armor. Definitely not something to build first item imo but not bad.

Is there a reason to go HotD over any other Morbid Mask upgrade if you aren't planning on stacking ancients?
If you want to make a late game Satanic. I like making Satanic on Troll.

Also for Huskar HOTD is a must over the other two options. Same for SF and Drow if I want LS. I don't like going MoM on squishy heroes. And of course Vlads is worthless for ranged heroes unless they are making a supportive Vlads for other melees in the team.

Vlads won't give you lifesteal on ranged form as troll.

I like building it when there is another carry on the team that can benefit from it, and it also works nice with diffusal on troll (no one will kite you, also great against skeleton king or warlock) or other orb effects like deso.

HoTD is nice for the utility it adds, in addition to creep stacking you can use it on a troll priest to get a net or use it with a centaur + smoke to solo roshan earlier. Satanic is pretty good on troll as well, it gives him that boost that would allow him to out man-up someone like faceless void who usually can outcarry you later on.

as far as playing LC goes I never played her in wc3, I'm assuming you would do a ganker playstyle on her, roaming when you hit 6 and snowballing into a carry later on.

I need to get better at ganking mid lane in pubs. I've had way too many games lately where opposing mid snowballed.

You and me both. I was the last to pick in RD and I figured our Warlock would be better off supporting a side lane, so I picked QoP
of pain
. I am really bad at judging when I should be leaving my lane to gank, so I usually end up either really underfarmed (see my GPM) or we reach the 20 min mark and I realize I haven't ganked once. I got a lot of assists and I helped our PA farm by using Scream of Pain on a creep wave and letting him last hit them all. But I was still disappointed because I sacrificed farming to go ganking and I ended up with few kills and shit CS.

Edit: Oh man, looking at the Dotabuff link I had almost forgotten about that game. Our Warlock disconnected after he hit level 6, and the enemy team started grouping up and ganking us. They were winning and I was pretty worried, but the whole time they almost completely ignored our PA while he free farmed top lane. Me, SK, and KotL grouped up to defend tower pushes while PA farmed, and we actually kept their whole team at bay and stalled it out. Our Warlock ended up reconnecting, but I was unsure of how useful he'd be at level 6 when everyone else was level 13-14. Dude comes in and uses his ult, PA joins us, and we win a teamfight. PA snowballed and went beyond godlike and we ended up steamrolling them after what I thought was going to be a 4v5 loss.

One of the best things about Dota is that you can turn games around like that.
