I don't think the changes really fix any of Slardar's problems, but maybe he can be more aggresive with his sprint off cooldown more.
 
I doubt Storm will be redesigned, he is a Celestial Bear and Human Wizard merged together. I think both him and Veno are just going to broken down in diffrent ways.

I just think he won't really fit into the game with his two elemental brothers being pandas. Or trying to work the lore out so that every elemental spirit somehow bonds with a mortal? That would still require some minor editing of Storm's lore.

Maledict buff is baller. Early chakram mana buff is awesome along with a little more mana pool. AA aghs is great (not sure how possible it is :P). Razor buffs are nice as well. I really like the disruptor thunder strike buff which is essentially a glimpse buff.

If that huskar magic resistance buff is per stack, that's pretty huge. I'm like 80% sure it is, it just says "magic resistance" after the values where I think it should say "per stack."

I'm really interested to see new malefice. Seems like a huge debuff early, 2 one second stuns is nothing to sneeze at compared to 3 0.5 second ones. Also will be interesting to see that SK nuke/heal.

It's per stack, only 7% Magic Resistance at level 4 would be terrible, especially in exchange for the damage boost he received earlier.

They're not related though, so they dont need to change shit.

Storm is a human and a Celestial fused together, Brew is a half Oro(bear), half Celestial by birth. From voice lines we know that Xin is a pure Celestial, so he doesn't have to look like either. And who knows if the new guy will even be a Celestial.

they could go way out of left field and make Earth Spirit into Brew's father. It would meld well with Brew's earth based abilities (and the earth spirit being the default spirit).

Actually Earth Spirit being Brew's celestial father would work out really well.
 
So, I assume Tinker can't refresh bloodstone, right? So Tinker can't just perma-suicide.

They could have Storm Spirit be the off shoot one, and the other two aren't bound to mortals.
 
Why is everyone thinking that now Clockwerk is trash against magic immunity? By the time they build magic immunity you can most likely get a force staff.

Assuming that's true:

Old Berserker's blood, maximum stacks: 168 attack speed, 112 attack damage
New Berserker's blood, maximum stacks: 280 attack speed, 98% magic resistance
 
*Towers no longer have separate bounty values when creeps or allies get the last it, it now gives the same reliable bounty to all players as if a creep killed it.
* Hero getting last hit on tower gives 100-200 bonus gold. Does not affect team bounty in any way

Deso buff to 1 more armor reduction doubt it will make it be picked up more just slightly better for the ones who already get it

Siege units hp buff means they should be not a random chance to last hit under tower now?
 
if you use decrepify/ghost scepter and that new hero's 100% magic block are you entirely immune to damage? I guess the same could be done with Omniknight or a BKB... but still.
 
Shadow demon:

- Shadow Poison no longer gives vision over the targets with the debuff
This still reveals the projectile path, but no longer locks on vision to units with the debuff on them for 10 seconds

Doing the math, max level Aghanim's Reaper's Scythe can't kill Huskar alone unless Huskar has only 1.7% of his max HP. For Level 1 Reaper's Scythe, Huskar would need to be down to .58% of his max HP.

So, if Huskar had 1000 Max HP, he would need to be at 5 HP for Necrolyte's first level of ult to kill him, and 17 for his max level of ult with Scepter.

You can't be ethereal and magic immune at the same time, if you pop bkb (or get repelled) after ghost scepter the second is dispelled.
 
This totally doesn't make sense regarding Huskar's magic resistance and how it stacks. At max value (near Huskar death) it gives you fucking 98% magic resistance! Please tell me I am messing up my math and stacking magic resistance does not work like that.

I was unclear on this. In Dota 1 did Necro never get kills for Reaper's Scythe kills or something? Or is it saying that even if they're under the stun and someone else delivers the final blow, Necro still gets the kill?

Think the latter is true. Once someone is caught in reaper's scythe, kill goes to Necro. That and the buybuck thing with scepter? Thank you based IceFrog.

At first I told him to shut up because he kept crying that he was losing top. Okay so I go top expecting to help kill whatever was giving him trouble and of course he's not there so I get ganged up on. While I was busy fighting them he claims I stole/dropped his item from the courier and wants to report me for that and other stuff when I had no reason to even touch it to begin with or had the chance to do that even if I wanted to. Guess you need some scapegoat for doing bad. So he keeps going on and on about that and claiming other bs like I'm friends with some other guy who's doing something I guess which totally makes sense in solo que. "He's verbally abusing me!"of course I am you asshole when you're doing nothing but whining about stuff I'm not even doing. He was literally the definition of a report abuser or was just a clever troll. Either way fuck you.
 
I'm not a fan of shagbark either but I can see why people like him.

Anyways I hope this patch fixes the cosmetics problem. Cosmetics were only staying equipped until after the second death.
 
with the trinity of elemental panda spirits now complete, I wonder if they're redesigning Storm Spirit to look more like a panda to match the other two spirits.

remember, when Storm Spirit was added to Dota 2, neither Ember or Earth spirit existed. We also know they're doing a big update of Storm Spirit's model, as they took him down from the workshop.

God I hope not. If anything I hope Valve makes Ember + Earth to look more like Storm in his current incarnation.
 
Timber buffs are nice but he needs more. Allow him to attack while he ults.

It's not that significant either way, imo. He has terrible auto attack damage and attack speed.

Edit: Regarding timber.

Timber isn't a right click hero. His abilities are his primary source of damage.

Uh... That's why I responded like I did? I still don't see how auto attacking during ult is a helpful buff over extra tank or early mana.
